Long Thursday ride πŸš΄πŸ’¨ direction #cordemais 🏭πŸ›₯ 3 hours and a half to work on #nutrition #strategy .  In order to replace calories lost during the ride and train my system to utilize fat when possible, here is what I carried 🍼 : A slow release carbohydrate & hydration mix (500ml, 160kcal, including 40g carbs), and 2 bars of @bonk_breaker (coconut, cashew πŸ˜‹ & peanut butter, banana), 280kcal each, 35g carbs, 8g protein, gluten free, 12g fat. I carry one bottle but schedule to refill if needed. I also ensure to be well hydrated and took a great breakfast to start my ride with proper glycogen amount. Always plan and try your nutrition before racing day.
