People are consumed by their weight (or how they look) all the time. They’re consumed when they weigh too much, and consumed when they’re trying to maintain. It’s undeniable that everyone notices how they feel about their body, regardless of where they fall on this spectrum. Personally, I would rather be consumed while maintaining a healthy weight (and looking and feeling my best). It takes effort to be fit. We are always choosing, choosing to eat healthier options, choosing to work out consistently; however, I can say with confidence that choosing a healthy lifestyle is always the better choice. It’s within our control, and is worth all of the effort. My advice: live a couple pounds away from your goal body, live in a way that if you had an event coming up, it would only take about a week or two to look your best. There’s nothing better than feeling good in your own body, being confident, and proud.
