Happy Durga Puja ๐Ÿ˜Š

After a hard work of around 2 months or so, Durga Puja pandals are prepared and after decorations and completions of Durga Puja idols, they just look fabulous.

Durga Puja is one of the biggest religious festival in India (especially in Bengal and Assam). Celebrating the power of Goddess Durga in whole Navratri (for span of almost 10 days). From the sixth day of Navaratri till the ninth day the huge pandaals of the Goddess Durga are open for the visitors and everyone celebrates. Different activities are to make Goddess happy. The tenth day of the Navaratri is called as Dashami and on this day the idols of the Goddess Durga are immerged into water and this process is called as Visarjan.

Before a month or so from Durga Puja, many artisans make Goddess Durga idols at different places, the most famous once are Kumartuli in Kolkata. Known for their perfection and beautiful art works. Some of these artists comes to Delhi (Chittranjan Park or CR Park) to make these idol for Puja Pandals in capital city.
I have covered the process of making Durga Idols at CR Park and presenting a series on the same. I started this series, Mud to Murti - "Making of Goddess Durga", some years back, have a look at it and enjoy :) #durgapuja #durgaidols #durgapuja2017 #vijaydashmi #durgaashtami #photographers_of_india #indianphotographyclub #inspiroindia #indianphotography #delhi_igers #delhiphotographer #igindia #ig_india #india_ig #travelphotography #itravel #travel #travelling #streetphotography #crpark #chittranjanpark #desi_diaries #INDIAPICTURES #MyPixelDiary #natgeoindia #sushilchauhan #artistfound #_instaindia_
