So here is a #PR  from last weekend that I forgot to share. The height of the box is 24 inches plus the weights adding an additional 3 inches(ish) per plate for a total of 48 inch(ish) jump. Not the best I can do but definitely a new accomplishment and something I'm proud of. As you can see I was hesitant to leap the first time and had to collect myself. I didn't land flat footed all the way up how I wanted but I got in there. I'll be putting the box jumps to the side for the next few months and focusing on just hitting big weights (my short lived cross fit days are over). Maybe during the cut I'll get over 4.5 feet 😬 (in case you're wondering my actual vertical last time I checked is only 25 inches. Not the old high flying dunker I used to be in high school) It was fun seeing the explosiveness I still had and overcoming mental barriers. The love I have for fitness really helps with life. You set out to accomplish things and when you hit a wall persistence will conquer all.
