About Morning Routine
Every morning I set my alarm, wake up at sunrise, and roll out of bed to make time of my mat. This started about two years ago when I realized everything I was confortable with needed to change and I needed to be stronger. I’ve been uncovering that when I feel emotionally low and even weak, taking time to make my body strong helps me a lot. I empty the busyness of my mind, I show up, I do the hard work. Just 20 minutes to flow, and finally chill with my cup of matcha tea, it’s warm and incredibly cozy, and it has the power to align my mind and my body. To bring me the fullest sense of well-being. Through my last breathing exercises, I am able to control the many different ideas that pass through my mind at different times, while also appreciating the seeming randomness of my mind. Because yoga is not just about moving, stretching, and physically challenging your body with the different asanas, but a lot of it is about control, about listening to your body, and about challenging your body in a calm way.
