As an apology for my long absence from instagram, I thought that it would be best if I tell all of you what i have been up to while I was gone, starting with my artwork. At the beginning of the 1st semester of my junior year in high school, i decided to take a painting class in order to further develop my skill as an artist. The nice thing about the class is that we are allowed to paint/draw anything we want, as long as we can explain the painting to fit the current projects theme. The first project's theme was Inside & Outside. The series of pictures here are just a few photos on how i progressed on my painting. My painting is based on the trainer's preferred theory of what happens when a Pokémon is withdrawn into a Pokéball. Basically, this theory is that since Pokémon are creatures comprised of a special energy that the Pokéballs can tune into and the Pokémon is shrunk down, and the remaining energy is used to create a mini habitat within the Pokéball. This fits the Inside & Outside theme because not only do you see the outside and the inside of the Pokéball, but the inside of the Pokéball is painted to be an outdoors environment.
