When I begin working with clients, they often feel like they need to make ALL the lifestyle changes we discuss at once. My job is to teach them otherwise. The truth is that making a ton of changes all at once doesn't work, it's not sustainable, it's overwhelming. When we are overwhelmed we don't take action, we freeze. Lasting change is made by taking one step at a time, working toward one goal at a time. This approach is not only easier, it's more effective!
Looking to lose weight - start by drinking more water.
Looking to improve your energy - start by reducing sugar.
Looking to decrease symptoms of anxiety - start by focusing on more sleep.
It's not a sprint folks, it's a marathon, so train accordingly 💕
Stacey Prefontaine, Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. My great passion is to help others improve and enhance their lives by teaching them how to manage daily stressors, heal from trauma, and promote physical, emotional, and mental health and well being. Through my practice as a hypnotherapist, I have been able to help clients improve self awareness and intuition, become confident in challenging relationships and situations, put an end to unhealthy habits, reduce and manage pain, improve sleep quality, and gain confidence.
With hypnotherapy, issues that live in the subconscious mind can be accessed and addressed with rapid and effective results. In some cases, traditional psychotherapy can be paired with hypnotherapy to achieve even greater success and peace of mind. The two modalities are highly complementary and often go hand in hand. My training as a medical support hypnotherapist allows me to work with clients who wish to use alternative medicine (in conjunction with conventional medicine) to manage pain and enhance their response to treatment. Studies have shown that hypnotherapy can reduce certain side effects of medication, minimize postoperative pain, and reduce complications and recovery time. Even one session of hypnosis before surgery can have a significant effect on a patient’s overall recovery. My 400-hour clinical training and 100-hour medical training took place at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America located in Albuquerque, NM. I am a certified clinical hypnotherapist, a clinical medical support hypnotherapist, an autogenic trainer, and a fellow of the International Board of Hypnotherapy.
Clients are generally seen for one to six sessions, depending on the nature of the issue being addressed. Clients can be individuals, families, or groups; business and corporate trainings are also available and can be tailored to the needs of the company.
I look forward to working with you and discussing the particular way hypnotherapy can enhance your physical and emotional well being safely and naturally. #hypnotherapy#hypnosis#hypnotherapist#clinicalhypnotherapy#clinicalhypnosis#ada#foresthills#rockford#grandrapids#grandrapidsmi#experiencegr
