Been testing out @skulpt_me for body composition analysis
Doing weekly testing to assess changes in body fat and muscle quality scores

Simple and good data

⚫️Body Composition Testing ⚪️ Have you used @skulpt_me before to measure body composition?

If so how have you found it to be?

If you have never used it - what method do you use for testing body composition?

We have been testing our trainers and members for last few weeks and are very happy with the consistency of the results.

Knowing body composition is a far more interesting and accurate data piece to use for assessing health and body fat % when it comes to measuring progress for people. The Skulpt device gives a score for muscle quality in each limb tested as well as a score for body fat %. Our nutritional, lifestyle and exercise programming is then set to help you to achieve closer to optimal body composition.

What's your current Body Composition?

🤸🏻‍♂️Hand Balance progress- Handstands🤸🏻‍♂️ ----------------------------------------------------
Handstands are an extremely underrated exercise. If your like me it's for one main reason: most people think they just can't do them. I found this skill extremely difficult to start and had a lot of fear. I am almost 12months in and only just now getting some balance time.

Just because you didn't do gymnastics when you were younger and aren't yet an advanced yoga practitioner doesn't mean you can't start doing handstands starting today.

Aside from bringing out your inner kid and just being plain fun to do, there are actually several ways handstands can benefit your health, especially if you do them on a daily basis.

So whether you do them against a wall or manage to do freestanding ones, here are a few reasons why you should do handstands every day:

1️⃣ Since staying upside down forces you to stabilize your muscles, you're constantly working your abs, as well as other key muscle groups such as your hip flexors, hamstrings, inner thigh muscles, obliques and lower back while in a handstand.
2️⃣ Training handstands every day will get you a well balanced, super strong core.

3️⃣ You will develop mentally from overcoming the challenge - by going through the process of not being able to do handstands at all to balancing will teach you or remind you it is possible to learn new skills (re-wire your brain)

4️⃣Upper body strength development- to remain balanced upside down will require you to have strong shoulders, upper back and arm strength.

5️⃣ Increased body awareness useful for all sports and significant improvement in balance
Have a go test yourself

20min Snatch block working on technique. Very new to the weightlifting 🏋🏻. Today I worked up to my 1RM. Total of about 15 sets between 1-3reps.

The Snatch is a highly technical exercise that can take hundreds if not thousands of repetitions to master the skill behind the lift.

So why Snatch?

It has multiple benefits- here are a few I consider to be most beneficial for me.

1️⃣It increases proprioception (awareness of your own body in a given space)
2️⃣Fast reflexes the Snatch teaches faster reactive times which are useful for a wide array of sports from football to boxing

3️⃣More explosive power and force production. More force allows you to move weight faster. The Snatch teaches how to move weight faster, more efficiently and in a co-ordinated manner. This translates into reduced fatigue and more power.

4️⃣Because the Snatch improves force production and power it creates the ability for faster sprinting or acceleration. This is why Weightlifting is programmed for sprinters.

5️⃣Improve Body Composition- because the movement is performed explosively and requires a large volume of muscles to work at the same time it increases metabolism very fast which can assist in fat burning. It is a great exercise for total body strength workout
