Some important brainstorming going on in a room full of youth with passion and experience! So grateful to have the opportunity to make system change and bridge the gap between the child and adolescent system and adult system so that we can prevent so many young people from falling through the cracks when they age out of services #transitionageyouth#transitionprotocol#youthmentalhealth#systemchange#youthengagement#bridgingthegap
We brought our nonprofit co-tenants together to find out what they need to continue doing their world-changing work and what they have to offer others in the space! We love this community #cowork#socinn#ldnont#nonprofit#worldchangers
2017 Impact Report - I cannot wait to share it. This report illustrates our loan fund's Social Return On Investment (SROI). For example, as we transitioned 16 individuals off social assistance, we saved the Ontario government over $462,000 in social assistance payments and infrastructure costs, in just 5 years. Isn't that exciting? #loanfund#impactloan @goodwill_ogl
See the #possibility that #people and things can #change at any #time , and don't hold on to the judgements. @srisriravishankar We get so caught up in our own mind and our preconceived ideas of how things and people should be that we make ourselves miserable when people and things are NOT that way! It's interesting that our #mind plays this trick on us, because the #truth is that everything is changing all the time, and our opinions are changing ALL THE TIME! • Don't get stuck, #move forward with #acceptance of what is in front of you, this will make #life so much lighter, more #fun and with so many more possibilities unfolding for us! 😎 #Live with a genuine #smile#wisdom and #techniques to live sustainably #happy and #healthy on our @artoflivinglondoncanada weekly core programs more info on our web 👇⭐️www.artofliving.org⭐️
"Done is better than perfect" ✔️ This saying recently came up from both of my coaches in a matter of a week. I knew the second time I heard it that it wasn't a coincidence and that it needed my attention. I've always been someone who wants to do things really well or not do them at all. When I was younger if I wasn't good at a sport right away I didn't want to play anymore. This pattern has followed me through my adult years and into my businesses. Now that I'm getting older I'm learning that this perfectionist thought pattern is affecting the work I do. I've come to realize I can't do everything perfectly, I can't please everyone and even if I try and fail, at least I gave it a shot. What a relief this has been for my mind and work! I know I'm not alone in these feelings of wanting to do everything perfectly. What are you holding back on that you want to move forward with, but are scared you might not do well at? Is there an area of your life where if you just took the first few steps forward you would feel liberated? Are you holding back in fear that you may not be enough? I welcome you to join me, release the old and move forward creating more space for magic! 💕✨
