Taylor Favorite Lowell was born and raised in NWA. Her dance background has included training for years with the Springfield Ballet and Madame Chateau in Oklahoma City, both of which make her drive for a strong foundation of technique the heart of everything she does. In her earlier dance years she had the privilege of traveling and studying under some of the top choreographers in the business, such as, Robbie Mackey, Greg Russell and Steven Boyd. After high school, she attended Oklahoma City University, where she was a member for The American Spirit Dance Company, under the instruction of Jo Rowan. She performed multiple events such as the Choreography Showcase, The Yuletide Festival with the OKC Philharmonic Orchestra and the annual Spring Show. While attending college, she was a member of the OCU Stars dance team. Her choreography throughout the last 20 years has won numerous top awards, on both the regional and national levels. In 2014, Taylor opened Favorite's Dance Academy and strives to bring an environment where dancers not only receive a top dance education, more importantly, they learn valuable life lessons that will stay with them forever. Ms. Laine and Ms. Taylor grew up dancing together and have a strong established trust and passion. They are so excited for FDA and KDA to become "Sister" studios and collaborate for years to come.
