I've disliked squatting for the past 5 years or so for motile reasons, but the two biggest being 1.) I'm not good at it and 2.) It hurts.

Over the years I was able to manage pain by rolling my hips, quads and glutes between almost every set.  It was annoying, but it seemed to make me feel better- at least for the next set.

About a month ago I took the #BrainBasedTraining course with Dr. Paxton of @arlingtonperformancecare and completely changed my warm up.  I added in diaphragmatic breathing, crawling and depth jump variations to the start of every workout.

Over the last three weeks I've been able to improve my squat weight drastically: 225 lb, 235 lb, then 245 lb last week.  The best part is I've been able to do this all pain free without having to roll between sets!!! Thank you Dr. Paxton!
