This here is part of our plan, and with people like Kitty on board we know we have the ball rolling.
Being healthy isn’t just about food, we believe food is a major part but like anything in life, you’re not going to get as far as you could doing just one part and leaving out the rest.
The amount of time we spend on our phones, computers, devices is huge and we need to think about how this affects our health.
There is some great information, some research and really interesting podcasts out there to learn about this stuff and we all probably should as it seems to be the way of the future.

Good things are happening.
It’s just so coooool to think about making food to feed your soil to feed your plants that will feed you.
If you haven’t thought about this before, you probably should.
It may change the way you think about food and it may shift your ideas on where you get your food from.
Food that’s fed chemicals and pesticides or food that’s fed real food?
Can’t beat a turmeric latte when battling inflammation. After an epic day kitesurfing yesterday (post NTA qualification treat!) I now realise I have potentially torn my medial knee ligament. This with my autoimmune disease (ankylosing spondylitis) means there is lots of inflammation to fight.
3% of turmeric is curcumim which has powerful anti-inflammatory effect, but realistically this will only have a small impact...everything counts right. Also increasing my consumption up of anti-inflammatory omega 3 and 6 fatty acids too alongside a whole food gut healing diet....80% of your immune system is in your gut so if you abuse it with the wrong foods it can’t concentrate on the other areas requiring attention.
You also need to give your body the nutrients it needs to property inflame and then anti-inflame. Both are key to the healing process - they just need to be in balance which in the world we live in today and the foods commonly eaten this is often not the case.

This is happening a bit too often and it makes me a bit upset. It makes Kitty mad and it distressed Pod so much that he asked me to do a post on it.
For those that don’t know, we serve all of our meals with Ferments.
This one here is Sauerkraut, made here, by Team Ora, overflowing with 💚 and goodness.
To waste this is such a shame.
Not just for the person that grew the cabbage, not just for the person, that took the time to finely slice it, season it and massage it, ferment it and then jar it (note how much work goes in to this) but mostly for YOUR GUT.
This stuff doesn’t go on your plate to add color, it goes on your plate in the hope that it will strengthen your digestion and immune function. It will populate your gut with little friends that need to be there to fight the bad guys.
It makes your food more digestible and makes nutrients more bioavailable.
Why would you leave that kind of cool stuff on your plate?
Note; this isn’t a one off, this happens all the time and this is not directed at people that cannot eat Ferments. This is directed at the people that either don’t know what they are or don’t like the taste or just don’t care. We wouldn’t be having a go at people that have a reason to not eat them.
