First challenge in our Pottery Throwdown Christmas Party will be blindfold throwing a cup in 3 minutes. It may sound super difficult if you are used to relying on your eyes while throwing, but if you think about it, so many actions in pottery are about touching and feeling. I think if you close your eyes, slow yourself down, breath, focus on your clay and on your hands, you will get an immense amount of insight into what's happening with your throwing. This could be a fun challenge for our Throwdown, but it is also a great exercise in switching off all chatter in your mind, switching off all worries and stress and just being in the moment, letting your mind rest and relax. @silkyshapes #silkyshapes

Amber is getting ready for summer entertainment with this set of wheel thrown bowls gorgeously decorated with underglazes @silkyshapes #potteryclass I think a set like this one would be a wonderful gift for your hens or birthday if you bring all your besties to do a pottery workshop with us and they will each decorate a few pieces any way you want to.
