when travelling to japan, we always prefer Japanese breakfast over western ones. This one served by the Beness house museum doesn’t disappoint. The breakfast place is located inside a museum cafe at the basement, so we have to pass through the symbolic spiral ramp of tado Ando (the famous architect of the museum) to reach the cafe from our room. The cafe is then surrounded by art works on fair-faced concrete walls, with windows looking towards to Seto inland sea
Back to the food, all ingredients we are having are carefully selected mainly locally on island. I am particularly impressed by their homemade tofu which is rich in soy bean flavours and texture.
