Spent the first day of my solo Kansai trip in #神戸市#Kobe . And wow, the city is gorgeous. (: I managed to take in the view of and from the harbor both in the day and night, had two separate Kobe beef om-nom-nom experiences, saw the iconic port tower, visited the Ikuta Shrine (pictured), made it to the city's very own Chinatown and had a Peking duck wrap that was overflowing with meat and sauce (because the lady was being extremely kind to me (': and we had a great time talking about Singapore and China in a mix of Japanese and Mandarin Chinese), got myself a #Hyogo prefecture postcard (and then was given similar smaller postcards with assorted designs because the guy at the post office was so sweet to give them to me when he heard I was collecting those (': omggg), and ended my day with a clubbing-like event at the harbor with lights, English pop music, smoke and water jets which I only got to be a part of because I just happened to end up at the right place and at the right time!
So #thankful for the wonderful start of my solo journey in Kansai. (': cheers to more fulfilling and enjoyable days ahead! #phyinKobe#phyinJapan
