The holiday is coming, so that means I’m painting skulls. Due to my workload of other projects I’m cutting my usual production of 100+ to a more reasonable 50. They will be available on December 2nd at the @qcmbuffalo and on December 9th at @catslikeus. Remaining stock will be online the following Monday. Ornaments are $25 each with $5 shipping. If you’re looking for a certain color, shoot me a DM.
Been painting this lil mural @farmandhausorlando in @eastendmkt this weekend. Almost done! First time using 1-Shot sign painter’s enamel and it’s real nice. Also the market is a really fun place to work, full of good food and @lineagecoffeeroasting and nice people. This has been one of my favorite jobs yet, so thanks @brittanywlyne 😘
Dug these two old signs out of a skip! I'm pretty sure the larger one was from the premises next to the skip, just outside the city centre (see ghost sign in the last image) and looked like it had been in storage for some time. Unfortunately it had been snapped in half but I will restore it as best I can.
The 'Mckenzie motorcycle depot' one has a city centre address so I'm not sure why they were together - but it's definitely my favourite!
I've tried to find information on both companies, unsuccessfully. Would love to see photographs of them being used in their prime! Quite honoured to own a little piece of history from my city.
Day 3 of @mikemeyersignpainter hand lettering class. Today we practiced shadows. I really focused on having control of my brush through all these curves and tight corners. Definitely have a lot more practice ahead of me!
-The Power Of Letting Go-
"I should have, could have, would have..."
How often have we heard this?
How often have those words come out of your mouth?
There is nothing wrong with demanding the highest expectations of yourself.
It is not always that plans unfold exactly how you would desire them to.
I believe with everything you experience in life...
You win some, you lose some but no matter what, you always learn some!
Far too often we allow ourselves to become victims to situations. We stress that, this-that-or-the-other "happens" to us, rather than taking responsibility for the outcomes of our actions. Now, in some circumstances, this may be so.
But understand that anything before this very moment no longer holds weight in your life. The quote "I cannot touch the past, therefore why do I allow the past to touch me" could not ring more true.
Accept whatever good or bad may have happened in your life but also accept that you are forever in control! You may not be able to rewrite your past but you are always capable of controlling your future.
Let go of some things that may be restraining you from achieving your limitless potential!
No one is saying this will be easy. It will take everything you've got, but you've got what it takes!
Let go of anchors that are holding you back and I assure you, you will rise higher than ever before.
