I’m sure everyone is thrilled to be sent home from work/school early today in preparation for Hurricane Ophelia🌪
Does this mean that we go home and simply lay on our beds watching TV all day? NO! Why not use this extra time to be as productive as we can, so that the rest of our week seems a little easier?
1️⃣ Plan the week ahead in your phone calendar
2️⃣ Organise your wardrobe
3️⃣ Clean your house
4️⃣ Indulge in some home studying surrounding topics you are interested in
5️⃣ Cook your meals for the next few days
6️⃣ Sort out your gym-bag for your next session
The list could go on. Also, as most gyms are closed, this unfortunately for some people gives us another rest day (Fortunate for others id imagine😂)
Don’t forget that whilst we can be productive, use the tail end of this day to;
1️⃣ Perform active recovery (Foam roll, mobility work & trigger point utilisation)
2️⃣ Relax, get the feet up and fuel our muscles for the week ahead💪🏽
