It was a little weird switching up my workout and using my work gym instead of my set-up at home that I'm used to. We'll see how it goes the rest of the week and I'll decide if i need to re-think my schedule. It's all about making it work you guys, fitting it into your schedule and making it a non-negotiable!

I hate saying no to things. I've always been a social person who loves to help others. For a long time it wasn't too much to keep saying yes to people asking me for help or time. Recently I've noticed I'm spread too thin, sickness has been lingering and I'm constantly feeling like I need to run to the next item on my list. Today I took a step back from something I've been committing a lot of time to, and honestly a lot of care as well. It's hard and makes me sad but I know it's in the best interest of myself and my family right now. I feel selfish but I also believe taking care of myself and my family makes me better in my professional and personal relationships. This is one of those times that a tough decision is the best decision. I'm standing by my hope that in 2018 I will be better at self care and this is another step in my practice. .
One of my MANY goals for this year is to lose 50 pounds. This seems like a BIG task to accomplish so I’m giving myself an entire year to do it. I’ve always been a very visual person so I created this chart to countdown the pounds. I posted it up in my home so see it everyday. It’s a constant reminder of what I’m doing. To accomplish this goal I broke it down by month. I need to lose 4.16 pounds per month in order to lose 50 pounds, which is totally doable! My first week on a Weight Watchers freestyle I lost 3.2, so I’m almost at my goal for this month! Excited to see what will happen at this weeks weigh in. Working at home today due to a snow day. I often make notes along the way as certain images catch my eye before the watercolor spreads. I try to do multiple paintings in one session to prepare for the week ahead. Generally it takes two hours for a painting, and another two to compile the information. My ideal situation is to paint and read at the same time without reducing quality and quantity of the information. #2018goals

I've promised myself for 2018 jewellery 👑and lippy 💄as a bare minimum every day even on the morning school run 🕣. Yesterday afternoon at the school gates a fellow mum even asked if I'd been out. Yay 🤷♀️it's working. Aaron starts a new school Monday so another reason for fresh starts and putting my best feet forward 👣.Lottie is turning two very soon so I need all the help I can get. A bit of a morning boost🚀 from Berocca is just the ticket especially as I am missing the Christmas slow mornings. This year, 2018 I have decided to dedicate this Instagram to capturing my New Years goal, which is each day of this year to try something new! It can be as easy as waking up at a different time; to something big like cutting my hair. But each day doing something different for myself.
