My boy is getting so grown up. 21 months in a few days! I have to say this stage is continuing to be one of the most challenging for me. At this point in time Arlo still can’t really say much which is particularly frustrating for him and me to communicate what he is feeling, wether it be rage, pain or upset. At the same time, it is also one of the most loving stages. Today 30 minutes of crying and upset (and me almost bursting into tears) was followed an hour of kisses, cuddles, messing up my hair + hide + seek! Mammahood is one continual rollercoaster! How can you not love that wee face? 😍
Omg this boy has been like a koala bear ever since we returned from the trip, so clingy!!! Either he’s suffering from holiday withdrawal symptoms or having major separation anxiety. He’s off his food and toys. As u can see, we are at the water playground and he will have none of that!

Toddlers are known for their picky eating and stubborn demands. Instead of turning the holidays into a war zone, pick your battles. - Try offering foods they enjoy in addition to the new options. - Always allow extra time to get where you are going so being late doesn’t add to the stress. - Pack each chid a little bag of toys and activities to keep them entertained during times they may become bored. - Embrace the memories, things don’t need to be perfect, it’s about being together.
