First week of the 30 Day Mindful Drawing challenge completed and the drawings are mounting up! Best bit so far is letting go of the outcome - we exert so much control in writing that it's a relief to simply make marks and create freely, without expectation and agenda. Biggest surprise is discovering I want to work more, and bigger, with ink and paint - I was terrified of them in the art class at school. Now, I want to play! 🎨
