COCONUT YOGHURT. Does anyone else seriously love this stuff? Something I find really easy on the 30 Day Reset is cutting out dairy. Since the first time I followed the plan I cut back on cheese and stopped drinking milk as I realised it was one of the things that upset my stomach and worsened my acid reflux. As I've been moving more and more toward a plant based diet I've tried loads of alternatives and coconut yoghurt is by far my favourite. I had some as a snack today with blueberries but you can do lots with it and it's great in a shake or with granola/porridge/oats etc. Have you tried it before?

How often do you see people work super hard to reach goals and then all of the sudden what they’ve worked so hard for is gone? Why? Because they lacked consistency. I believe persistence is the easy part. It’s being consistent once hitting a goal and keeping it that’s a struggle. Consistent actions= Consistent Results
30 DAYS RESET snacks.... I usually go for peanut butter and banana as a go-to snack but as part of the 30 days to healthy living, we are cutting back on fruits that spike blood sugar including bananas, so I opted for green apple and switched my peanut butter for almond butter. Almond butter is a good source of Vitamin E, has less saturated fat, more fibre and fewer carbohydrates than peanut butter and I really like the taste.
Always check the labels when you do buy nut butters as some contain added sugars and also palm oil, which is not good if you are concerned about the environment/animal cruelty.

Many people make this their end goal, seeing weight loss as a measure of ultimate success for any change they make to diet or lifestyle!
I can 💯guarantee (from experience) that by making this your only goal, a healthy lifestyle is unlikely to be the result.
I hear many people talk about counting calories or how many calories they eat in a day. Off course the basic mathematics work and you lose weight doing this but it certainly doesn't mean you're nourishing your body with nutritious foods that are beneficial.
It's also unsustainable in the long term and in my opinion can lead to some unhealthy habits.
Better overall health, more energy, better sleep, less bloating, brighter skin, is the end goal of the program I am coaching this month.

Get them greens in!!! The more people I coach on the 30 day reset the more I realize how so many of us lack our greens! Just a little sneak peek of what our #fallfitfocus group will be doing today as part of their #30dayreset challenge. This is just one of the many workouts they are given daily along with their food plan, detox schedule and mindset pieces. This group has been doing so good and the encouragement and support has been beyond amazing!
I just finished my 30 Day Reset and I’m feeling on top of the world! I was a little skeptical at the start, I’ll admit, and I was really not thrilled about “giving up” some of my favorite foods for a month. BUT these are all changes I’ve seen in the way I feel!
•More energy - at the start of my 30 days I incorporated morning workouts to my routine. That first week I could feel myself fading after lunch and I was getting really drowsy so I had to take an Energy Fizz Stick to hold me over. Now, I don’t need anything, my energy lasts during my whole work day 🙌🏼
•Better Sleep - I’ve been tracking my sleep and it consistently only takes me 8 mins to fall asleep! 8 MINUTES! And I almost always stay asleep all night. When I had a little cheat this week and had a piece of pie, it took much longer to fall asleep and I couldn’t shut my mind off.
•Clearer skin - seriously such a perk of eating clean!! The little breakouts I usually get have cleared up (again except for when I cheat and have sugar/dairy)!
• Improved Digestion - the biggest thing I notice now is when I have eaten gluten or desserts, I’ve been really bloated. I used to think that was just what it felt like to be “full”. Yuck 🙅🏽
• Weight loss - this was not a goal of mine, but it happened naturally. About a lb a week!
Now, I’m starting to reintroduce foods I cut out for 30 days so I’ll have a better idea of how specific foods affect me. This was definitely a challenge, but I want to do it again! I truly love the way I feel 💪🏼

#coffee ☕️ It's a bit of an institution really.
In the hospital setting where staff work shifts and are constantly out of whack with their body clocks and just generally stressed, coffee is a necessity for most. Some might say they'd like an IV to get it direct into their blood stream.
I used to be like that. I used to have to have a coffee every day to be able to just minimally function through my shift, through life.
Today I had my first coffee this week, and it's Friday!
And I'm not having it because I NEED it to survive my day. I'm having it because I WANT it and am CHOOSING to have it for the flavour I like.
