After hurting my back, then hurricane Harvey and, going home for two weeks I have managed to workout 90% of the time still. Eat healthy 💯 of that time and feel great. Most days I only workout 30 mins which is all you need with the right mean plan, followed by my healthy shake full of vitamins. Today I tried clean week day 1. Love it 🙌🏻 going to be sore in the morning from that one. I am also making it a goal to go far this month. I am looking for strong women who are ready to make a change in there life. Happy Tuesday... Slept in this morning (uh oh!!) But straight into a cardio workout to get the day going.
Seriously if you need something to wake you up try moving for 30mins whether that be a structured workout or going for a walk. You'll feel better for it. 😀
Got dressed for real today! My daughter didn't recognize me at her Volleyball game this week, she said she had to take a second glance to be sure. We laughed for a minute after I said "that's because you only see me in yoga pants and hoodies". The real reason was because I didn't fit into the clothes I have. Stretchy stuff was working for me and I was comfy. I found a few items of clothing from my Admin. Assistant days and it blew my mind that they fit better now than they did years ago. Get some.... Friday fight!!!! This is by far my favorite move of the workout.... I love anything that involves punching because I can feel my muscles working.
I started insanity max:30 about 3 weeks ago and I feel amazing. I can feel and see muscles that I didn’t have before. The best part is it is only 30 mins a day... 30 mins yep!
In 30 mins I can work my whole body, get in some cardio, and sweat like a dog... 💪🏻 (do dogs even sweat? why wouldn’t it do this... 🤷🏼♀️ Today I got to workout in my pajama shorts who does that? 🙋🏼 yep I do that’s me 😜
Working out everyday boosts my energy levels I can tell a difference if I miss a workout so I don't make that an option my reasons for working out are not to have a competition Body or lift a certain amount of weight my reasons are my health and how I feel the energy I have ! You all can see I workout from home by myself... BUT what is totally awesome is the freaking amazing support I get from some of the best people I’ve ever met. They are all over across the country. Together, we work on goals. Challenge one another. Support one another. Inspire one another. There are days I don’t want to, but I “check in” on an app on my phone, and because of them I muster up the energy to do it. Every. Day.
It is an #accountabilitygroup that has yet to fail me. I’ve been participating in them for almost a year now. I’ve lost over 10 pounds and a total of 18 inches off my body. I never get bored of the workouts, I never get bored of the groups.

| People always ask me what can they do at home to get in shape and the honest answer is NOTHING! You need the gym and a solid diet to change your body. tl;dr - a week of lettering under 30mins a day, every day, because I'll improve by doing, not procrastinating!
After a challenging discussion with some of my girlfriends regarding our values, and whether our goals and plans and actions align with those values, I've made a move on something I've been meaning to do for ages - basically just to 'do more' and thus improve my skills so I might be able to eventually create something truly beautiful and purposeful to share with the world. So now that I have accountability, I'm making myself set aside 30 minutes every day, to just letter whatever. A phrase, a quote, but once 30 mins is up, I walk away.
I struggle dreadfully with the perfectionist view "do your best or don't bother" and that's just a really crap way to think, and USELESS if you want to get better at something.
