Dig in and stretch yourself to new limits. Get uncomfortable. Time for some *real talk*. For the past year I've been battling chronic tightness in my Achilles. Not enough pain to make me stop anything, but enough to know it's there and make me occasionally not want to stand more or walk my dog. I knew I needed to put more effort into stretching, but I was making excuses of being too tired or too busy to do it. A couple weeks ago I started using the strategy of pairing to be more consistent. Now I pair my stretching and PT exercises with evening TV watching. It's working great. I've done it almost everyday, and between that and my new Strength and Stretch workouts I'm seeing some improvement in my pain. I'm putting this out for the world; my goal in another 7 weeks is to be able to do a down dog pose with heels flat in the floor. Hold me to this, social media world! I’m excited to announce that I will be teaching a cycle class at The Willamalane Adult Activity Center on “C” Street in Springfield on Saturday’s from 9-10 a.m.
We will start on Saturday, January 13th. There’s a drop in option if you do not have a membership.
It’s also FREE to Springfield School District employees. I’m excited to work out with more of my local friends.

I’m currently bulking, but my abs are wanting to start shredding. Once a layer of fat is gone, I think I’ll be pretty happy with all of this hard work. Until then, building muscle and fueling it shamelessly. 💀
Cannot even believe Thanksgiving is this week and is only 2 days away 💜🙏🏼 As I sip this cup of coffee, I think about how much has happened this year, great and challenging.
So thankful for all I’ve learned. I feel like I’m fulfilling my purpose in each encounter and situation He places me in.
I haven’t had this much clarity in a long time about who I am and where I need to be 💜
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve enjoyed every stage of my life and everything I’ve been through. I’ve also learned so much from my mistakes. The moments of tears and the sadness help me appreciate the goodness in others and in life.
I guess I can proudly say... I love being 40! I’m happy to be alive!

Am I the only one who feels like I can start slacking today because it’s a holiday week? Today, I’ve been struggling to stay focused on my work.
