This is my review of "LORDS OF THE
SITH". **********POTENTIALSPOILERS********* Summary: Lord's of the Sith is about Darth Vader and the Emperor visiting Ryloth. During their visit their ship is attacked by a group of Ryloth insurgent lead by Cham Syndula who has appeared previously in the clone wars animated TV series. After their ship crash lands Vader and the Emperor must find their way back to imperial forces while also evading Cham's forces
This book explores The Emperor and Darth Vaders relationship in a way we have never seen before. All of the parts with The Emperor and Vader are fantastic. The realatoinship between Cham and A new character Isval is also a really nice element of the book. The book also introduces a new character called Colonel Belkor Dray. He starts the book out as a neat well kept but corrupt officer who has been helping Cham and his character arc through out the story is a really interesting part of the story.
There is really only one thing I do not like about this book and that is the first part of the second act. The entire section is mostly just filler. Sure you get a view interesting parts with Belkor and his superior Moff Mors however, it is mostly just Vader and the Emperor fighting these weird killer big things and Cham's group tracking them. The only purpose it has is to show how powerful Vader and the Emperor but we all knew that already so this whole section wasn't needed.
This book depicts Vader and the Emperor's relationship the way it should be, convoluted strange beneficial and dangerous. Most of the interesting moments are seeing Vader and the Emperor react to each other's actions. Cham and Isval's realatoinship is also very cool and I found the it very cool how Cham treats Isval like a daughter to make up for the fact that his daughter is away from him at the moment. The relationship between Colonel Belkor and Moff Mors is compelling and Moff Mors realizing Belkors deciet was one of the best parts of the novel. The novel dies unfortunately suffer from filler but it's not enough to ruin the book. That is why I give "LORD OF THE SITH" a 8.5/10 #starwars#lordsofthesith#ackbar
This workout has probably been written up by someone other than me before, but I wrote it up this morning and after doing it decided to name it, "Ackbar" after the general in Star Wars that said, "It's a trap!". It sneaks up on you quick! Give it a shot (looking at you @bobfystro, @pelts07, @thenastygirlspodcast), scale as needed on the weight, and let me know how you liked it! #crossfit#crossfitmasters#ackbar#itsatrap#betterthanyesterday#paytheman#good
