Hayatın Kıyısında🌺🐤🌺🌸🌷💫🐤 •"We do not remember days, we remember moments." 🌸🌺🌹💫🐤💫•Kitap Yorumu|

"The thing I realize is, that it's not what you take, it's what you leave..."
― Jennifer Niven, All the Bright Places
A book worth reading.. An emotional, heart-breaking, and affecting yet beautiful, lighthearted journey it was, but most of all a piece of writing with a message so deep & beautiful that it was truly heartfelt.
Our world needs to understand the stigma of mental illnesses and their effects on the lives on those who are suffering and the ones around them, specially our young ones. In a world where teens aren't able to accept themselves because of who they are and aren't able to find the meaning of life, living, and being alive, and in a world where a physical sickness is regarded much more severe than the terribly parlous mental complexities like depression, anxiety, disorders and even suicide.. We need to open our eyes and hearts towards those who are troubled, suffering, and should pay more attention to the tiny little acts & words of everyday life of ours that can change someones life forever.
A good recommendation I must say, it surely is the kind of book that changes the way you look at the world around you, if you look close enough.

Sometimes we think we find the perfect person for us. The person who will be with us for years and years and we will never break apart no matter what. But I'm here to tell you that not everything is meant to last a lifetime. Some things are only meant to last a little while and trying to push and draw them out will only make things hurt more. Who's to say that letting go isn't a life experience itself? No, I do not mean to be sad but I also don't want any of you to hold on so tightly just to realize that somebody wasn't holding on as much as you were. You are a beautiful person and I don't want you to think you are anything less. So if you decide to let go, for the better even if it may feel worse, don't treat yourself harshly because you do not deserve that. Your beauty comes from you and you alone so please, do not forget that 💕💕✨
While I'm waiting on The Raven King to get to my house I just might reread A List of Cages by Robin Roe because it's beautiful and I need to appreciate it more than I already do.
This is by far the best book I have read this year. I love @jenniferniven 's writing style so much and I instantly fell in love with Theodore and Violet. The way it has been written gives us a real insight into how they are feeling and what is going through they're heads. Where it was on such a sensitive subject I was second guessing whether to read it or not as I've have personal experiences with the topic at hand but I feel like it opened up a whole other side to it and made me be able to understand it so much more and in detail.
The blurb reads:
Theodore Finch wants to take his own life.
Violet Markey is devastated by her sister's death.
They meet on the ledge of the school bell tower, and so their story begins.
It's only together they can be themselves....
But, as Violet's world grows, Finch's begins to shrink.
How far will Violet go to save the boy she has come to love? -
Welcome to my account♡ I love this quote.
For so long I've thought about making an account where I can post my favorite quotes and some of my own. My theme is going to be quotes with pictures 6 times and then quotes with just plain white 6 times. This may someday change but for now this is what I like. I just needed an account to be mine, and it is a lovely place indeed. (Hence my username, it was actually inspired by the book this quote came from.) •
Small review (minor spoilers - but by the look of my face you'll probably know what's coming) 😭
I honestly don't know what to say about this book as my emotions were all over the place when reading the second half. The first half is lovely whereas the second is depressing and dark. You'll all probably know what the story is about. Violet Markey has lost her older sister via a car accident and Theodore Finch has a tough family life and he has lots of problems such as depression and he often contemplates about death and suicide methods. They both meet at the school bell tower and their unique friendship/love story begins. 💙
I don't know what else I can say to avoid spoiling anything. Everyone says that this is the new Fault In Our Stars, and I agree with that. I think this story is more real and gives an impact compared to the other - I feel the relationship is more real and both sides suffer at life and when they come together, they both light up in full brightness. ~
The only thing I didn't like about the story is you knew what was expected, and throughout the book, I kept thinking how it would happen (I'm sure you know what I mean if you have read it) and even when it did happen, I didn't get as emotional as I thought as I was thinking about it constantly before and I had mentally prepared myself. Whereas with TFIOS it was unexpected and I felt more emotional and I literally cried. But now I have a headache from reading so much and I'm glad I finished this this morning and read throughout the night. ~
I love Finch as a character, very unique and very funny, but it was so heartbreaking that he had suffered so much and it led to nothingness. Suffering from himself as a person, family issues, and people around him at school - so much all at once. How Jennifer Niven describes his struggles, she gives good explanations to what he's going through, as well as Violet's. ~
What hit me hard was Niven's own struggles in her life and why she wrote this book (Author's Notes). That made me cry - as I could see and understand her heartache from the losses. 💔
I give this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

(English version below)
Sometimes there are periods in our lives when you think that you're stuck and your life is not moving anywhere, and no one is supporting you and no one understands you because you're a teenager and the whole world is against you.
Story tells us that life is beautiful and there so many things out there that are worth living for. Unfortunately not always we find something we want to life for.
Take care of the people you love, make sure they get enough love, support and help when needed and never leave them alone.
