Program Director, Escolástica teaches a group of mothers of Huilloc about the benefits of daily vitamins for children between the ages of 1-5, as well as for pregnant and nursing mothers while they spin their wool to later knit.
WR is over! So let's have something relaxing to read.
HAVE YOU HEARD OF CHILE
Chile is world's longest countries and one of the narrowest. Its 4300 km in length 😲 and width about average 177km. Chile was once a colony of Spain which is why Chile until today speaks Spanish. Chile today is the most properous nation in South America and with the highest standard of living in the region as you can see from 2nd pic, its capital city, Santiago. Chile is so LONG!, hence it is divided into 5 DIFFERENT regions and has 10 different climates!
The regions (3rdpic)are Zona Grande, Zona Norte, Centro, Zona Sur & Austral. Each of them are UNIQUE.
Zona Grande is mainly a desert, known as Atacama. It is one of the driest in the world. It sits on the Andes mountain range. In regions like Salar de Atacama we can find many Salt lakes & salt flats (4thpic) & has numerous natural desposits like copper and salts which Chile mined and export in large quantity to the world.
Zona Norte is still a desert but a cool desert, there starts to become watery and more green (5thpic) Water flows down as snow melts on top of the Andes mountains & has a Mediterranean climate (Which means have Italian temperate climate) which is why, Chile can grow grapes and vineyards which produce world renown Chilean wine (can be found in S'pore market). Centro & Zona Sur are roughly the same. Those who took geography may know most part of Chile is located on the Pacific Ring of Fire which is why find Chile has over 500 active volcanoes😲. Most of these volcanoes are found in these 2 regions. With volcanic activities, there will be hotsprings. Thats why Chile opens many HOT SPRING PARKS and RESORTS (7&8pic). How relaxing☺
Austral, this is the chillest part of Chile 😄. Austral has many icy mountain ranges islands & peninsulars. Here we start finding glaciers like Antartica, icy fjords that resembles Norway, Iceland and it is very cold. However, beautiful as you can see Southern lights😀. Since it is so close to Antartica, you can find Chilean penguins!😍 Chile is so special right?
