Chloe, is another one of my original Flight Crew athletes who has returned every session 💛 Her skills in both topping and tumbling have improved significantly in just a year, and she has now found herself shining on her Senior 3 team. 💛 Chloe has a fun and silly personality, but knows exactly when to take things seriously 🙌 This athlete has a knack for spinning, and is so driven that you will always see her working on perfecting her stunt ✨ I can't wait to see how much further she takes her skill this year and how much fun she will have in the air at her competitions this year! With just under two weeks left, keep that in mind. It's going to be difficult, if it isn't already. So just remind yourself that you are capable of anything and what you tell yourself, your mind will believe.

Where to begin with this beauty named MANSELL. He's the largest receiver in our gym - aka he receives the most greetings ever when he walks through that door. We love his big heart, work ethic and great eyes (he's also #single ladies 😉). He said, "When I joined #CFO I had no idea how out of shape I was. After my intro with Cam I realized I had never actually ever worked out before. Sure I had been to a gym and lifted some weights, but that doesn't compare to the intensity of a #crossfit workout. One of the greatest things about CFO is when new members join and we're all able to see their physical abilities and confidence grow (mine sure did). CFO is truly an amazing place. We love her committed attitude and her effortless relationship with the barbell. She's also kinda funny. Amy said, "I joined crossfit 3 and a half years ago looking for something that would keep me engaged and excited, but primarily I was looking for something that would challenge me. I did the big gym thing and wasn't seeing results and I wasn't enjoying it. Jamie, a 13-year veteran, has played all over the world. But before he played professionally, he spent his developing years in the OHL. After spending a season in Sarina, Jamie was traded to the Oshawa Generals where he would score 100 points in his final year. He started his pro career in the ECHL and eventually made his way up to the AHL. After a 7 year stint in the AHL - with a season each in Finland and Russia - it was time to make a less temporary move across the pond. Since making the international transition in 2013, Jamie has played in Russia, Germany, Austria, and now Denmark. He currently plays for the Herning Blue Fox in the Metal Ligaen (top Danish league), and at the tender age of 34 Jamie is having one of the best seasons of his career. Happy Friday! Today we feature Sam - a mom, wife and epic crossfit partner! Not only did she rejoin CFO shortly after having her little one, but she seriously became stronger. We love that she embraces her strength and fitness goals regardless of the "busy-ness" of life. She said, "I started doing crossfit to prepare myself for some physical testing I had to do, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I immediately fell in love with it. It pushes me harder than I've ever pushed myself in a normal gym, and I used to think I pushed myself hard! (Plus, now I have an excuse to do handstands all the time). In light of the #crossfitinvitational this weekend 🏋🏼♀️ we share a story by Chris AKA UB. He has transformed into a powerhouse and his progress has been amazing to watch. He said, "Crossfit has been incredible. I worked at a desk for a number of years, and didn't realize the impact that had on my general fitness and mobility. I never would have known, or been able to reverse if it weren't for Crossfit. I have CFO's programming, coaching, and community to thank for that. Today we are featuring a teddy bear named Luke - he's funny, manly and has the biggest heart ever. Yes, that's what we call a #triplethreat ! He lights up the gym with his enthusiasm but also knows when to turn on the intensity. Luke said, "I joined CFO just over 3 years ago. I was pretty nervous going into my first class. I had a guy come up to me and introduce himself within the first couple of minutes of being there. That guy was Craig Hedderson!! Craig is now a good friend of mine! I have also met many other good friends at CFO!! I think its because of the the very supportive and friendly atmostphere CFO creates for its members! At 37 i am now stronger than i have ever been in my life! I can also now do things like double unders, rope climbs, and handstand pushups!! I owe my success to Kev and Cam and all my good friends from the 11am class!! When Katie first joined CFO she had never been a member of a gym. She had never completed a squat cycle, a clean and jerk, a snatch or a WOD for that matter. Fast forward 2016: she can push press more than... Well Eric. She's the prime example that to overcome a physical barrier you must mentally believe you can. Katie said, "When i joined crossfit in 2014, my main goal was to lose weight and relieve stress while in school. Little did I know I would gain a tremendous amount of confidence in myself and friends that I would consider family.
