Enjoying one of my favorite smoothie combos - banana and blueberries 😋
The amount of nutrients and health benefits in these simple ingredients are ridiculous - homemade smoothies are such a delicious way to get in those additional nutrients !
Play with your food: Use #plantains or #bananas as a base for these fruit-based "sushi" rolls. 1. CUT plantain/banana into 8 equal pieces. 2. SPREAD cut ends with nut butter or yogurt. 3. DIP pieces in rice cereal and chia seeds.
Beachbody Daily Sunshine Review: @beachbody sent us a box of their newest protein shake, Daily Sunshine, to try so I could share my thoughts with you guys. They have two flavors - Strawberry Banana and Chocolate. What *I* like is that they are lower in sugar than other products out there and full of protein and other good stuff. The kids liked the cool cup it came with. 😎 We tried them both and I've got to say, they're really good (especially compared to the protein powder I've been drinking). You're supposed to be able to mix these with water and drink them straight, but my kids are picky so I made them into shakes - this one had half a banana, a handful of strawberries, ice and water. And guess what? They both loved it! Strawberry Banana was their favorite, but I think I can get them into the chocolate if I add some peanut butter (they told me that sounded gross and I told them they were crazy). The bottom line is, these are a great option for busy families to get some extra nutrients into the kiddos. I think your kids will like them (if mine will eat something, it's safe to say other kids will eat it, too). You can buy Daily Sunshine at the Beachbody website. #beachbody#shakeology#shakeo#beachbodydailysunshine#dailysunshine#healthykids#healthyfood#healthybreakfast#proteinshake#kids#21dayfix#healthyfamily#strawberry#bananas#shake
