So.. the next one is Taylor Swift, a D+ rated vocalist.
LWYMMD: when I first heard it, I thought it was a good bop. Then, when I listened carefully for a second time, that feeling immediately disappeared. It took me quick enough to realize that, despite this being a diss track towards Kanye, this was another call for drama. "But not for me not for me all I think about is karma", like honestly Taylor, we get it, you're mad, but.. ugh (I mean come on you're gonna drop your album on the day that Kanyes mother died?) The video: I have never seen so much copied things in one video oh my god lmao. She copied Beyoncé (a lot), Michael Jackson, Miley Cyrus and the list goes on and on. It was a pain in the eyes, especially the end, like tf?
So, yes, Taylor has some bops, such as Shake It Off, Blank Space, Bad Blood (although I feel like Kendrick is the main reason why it became a hit, because the version without him sucks, really bad) and her most memorable hit I Knew You Were Trouble. However, they lack quality, are always about the same subject and are overplayed. She's too overhyped while she's very mediocre (song writing is the only thing she's kinda good at). It surprises me that she has won AOTY twice while her albums are not even that good. I really don't see anything outstanding in her, therefore I think she's very overrated. My rating is a 5,2/10 and that's that.
Okay.. there is so much going in this performance and I love every moment! Jay was sick, it was the opening concert for the Barclays, the stage is fucking SICK! The band is literally inside the stage!! Bey was so grimy, pretty, sexy, hood, & cute all at the same damn time! The chemistry was extra extra this night!! #beyonce#jayz#barclayscenter#brooklyn#tidal#beyhive#newyork
