Just contemplating on a lot of changes that have taken place as of late.
Thankful for discernment and The Voice of God being so prevalent in all of this. Some might ask, what exactly is going on? Well, God's just rerouting, recalibrating, redirecting, repositioning, and restructuring the course He already designed. And I'm so thankful for this season. I don't even know how to describe it but I'm really, really thankful. "The Word of God came to me, saying,
Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." -Jeremiah 1:4-5 "I know there’s a place I belong
Where I’ll see the fullness of love
A child face to face with my God
Lost in Your awesome wonder
While I wait I will not be afraid
My faith will remain all the same
My hope in the things not yet seen
Found in the greatest of these"
As I sit in my Room.. I’ve Prayed, and Prayed, and they weren’t Selfish prayers. I realize I’m not exempt from traps, or serpents looking to devour me, or even shame my Name!! But one thing for sure is it won’t change my outlook on people I believe everyone has a gift, and something great inside of them! Find out what that is.. Reach higher no one walks of life on this earth is perfect! But one thing for sure is I willing too try to be perfect even tho that’s a long shot! Life’s experiences will make you Cautious, and evaluate things quick.. Sometimes we don’t listen! But I know who my Hightower is, and my Buckler! Some may not like my spiritual post, and I get it since we live in a Microwave society, and people live for the Gram compromising themselves for likes, and opinions of people who that you should care less about those opinions! Do it for you ❤️ When I get on that stage tomorrow.. I don’t know what will happen, But God gets the Glory no matter what happens. My past, and my Failures in life don’t define Lionel Brown.. They only prepare me to become a better person than I was yesterday, and all who’ve condemned me, and Judged who you think I am! God Bless you! Things that have been on my Chest lately. #courage#boldness#strength#prayer#motivation#movetherock

I attended CoWorking Night at Huntsville West and left with the question floating through my head. Before that session, I would have told you I know my why and I am intentional in my choices. Within the first few moments, Thom Rigsby (who was facilitating the session) had me wondering if I had truly defined my root why – or your God seed, as I like to call it. “How can you tell if life is running you?” He wrote the question on the board and I stared at it. Earlier that morning I had shared how things had gotten derailed for me recently along with the tips I was implementing to get back to the plan. I THOUGHT I was now taking life by the horns and living intentionally, but Thom left me wonderings.
I’m still wondering if I understand my why – the defining, “north star” point that pushes me into my uniquely designed purpose. Is it even possible to know that why for certain?
Most importantly, can you live an intentional life without first defining your WHY?
What do you think?
Join me over at www.KathrynLang.com as I seek to define #purpose , find #focus , and live live with intentional #boldness !
[LES POINTS NOIRS] Les points noirs ou comédon sont le mélange de cellules mortes et du sébum, obstruant les pores de votre peau. Ils sont dus à un excès de sébum produit par la peau ainsi qu’à un mauvaissoin du visage.
He Holds It All Together
Colossians 1:17 is a pretty awesome scripture. It tells us Jesus is holding EVERYTHING together. Wow! Even people who don’t realize this are held together by Him.
Think about it. We can’t have good marriages if Jesus isn’t holding them together. If Jesus isn’t developing our personal relationships, then we aren’t going to have good ones. Our finances would be a mess without Jesus. Our minds and emotions would be a wreck without Him. Everything would be a mess without Jesus.
If Jesus is not the most important thing in our lives, then we need to rearrange our priorities. Matthew 6:33 tells us to seek God and His kingdom first because if we don’t have first things first, then everything else will also be out of order and cause us problems. God’s way of being, doing and seeking His kingdom is to find out how He wants things done—how to treat people, how to act in situations, how to spend money, what kind of attitude to have, and what kind of entertainment He approves of.
Start today by giving Him first place in your life. He’s holding you together...He created You to follow Him. Put Him first in your life #God#Faith#Jesus#TrustGod#Boldness#WorldPeace#Peace#Love#Meditate#Believe#Pray#Amen
I opened up an old journal to get back to writing tonight. I've had a challenging couple of weeks and haven't particularly even felt like writing, which is rare for me.
This came from an interview with Angelia Jolie in Elle, probably 3 or 4 years ago. I never had any strong opinion about her up until this interview. Didn't love her, didn't dislike her...just didn't think about her much at all. ⠀⠀
I read this interview online and then ran out to buy the magazine. I cut this quote out and I used to have it in a clear phone case so I could read it all of the time. I remember feeling like this statement was all about me. Someone understood me and I wasn't alone in the world or crazy for wanting something bigger.
When I switched phones, I put this away somewhere but thought I'd lost it. Tonight, when I got back to writing, this slipped out and literally dropped in my lap.
As tough as these last few weeks have been, mentally and emotionally, I also keep having this feeling like something big is going to occur in my life. A lot of major things have already happened recently. We purchased our film studio and released a feature film (I'd call those big). But this feeling is different, like I'm being prepared for something I've always wanted, something life changing, though for the life of me, I don't know what it might be.
This quote always reminds me that I wasn't made like other people. I do want to put my hands and feet and the walls around me, and shove with all of my might. ⠀⠀
If you've read New With Tags, you'll remember that Carrie said something similar to Nathan. This is where that idea came from. I do not believe that finding this tonight was an accident. I do t know what it means but I'm open to whatever is in store.
Sorry I meant 2 Kings chp 1&2 it's is important to have a MENTOR who do you LOOK UP TO? Just as ELISA looked up to ELIJAH the spirit of ELIJAH was imparted into him. As believers we need One another to help us GROW in our Faith When you have someone in your life who is deeper and more spiritual they serve as a guide and a TEACHER to help you MATURE SPIRITUALITY but REMEMBER to take FULL OPPORTUNITY OF THE SEASON while you have the CHANCE.
I realized it takes humility and persistance to be a mentee. You have to persue what you see in others and you have to be willing to learn and be guided. . @parislesley .

2 Kings 1 & 2
Every Christian needs a spiritual mentor. Each benefit and are stronger together. The question is whether or not we will reach out and seek the counsel and guidance of a mentor. Yes, the benefits are invaluable and provide a lifeline in the sea of life that has far too many storms. Elisha became a servant to Elijah. Instead of being cared for, he had to take care of his master’s needs, pouring his water, washing his feet. He had to endure the same hardships Elijah did. Before Elijah could pass on his mantle, he had to be sure that Elisha had enough iron ribbing in his character to withstand the harsh challenges of being a prophet of the Lord in a hostile world. Right to the end, he tested him to see if he could be too easily turned away from the hard road he must travel.
Similarly, the life of a true Christian is not an easy one. We will be repeatedly tempted to stay where we are instead of moving forward on the difficult journey ahead. But if we wish to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ, our master, we must develop the strength of character to push forward despite every distraction, discouragement, and resistance. #arkofwomen#kft#ilovejesus#boldness
