I had a BLAST visiting the new Cowboys Fit facility today and doing a Turbokick class with @fitntravelspire led by @chrissy_potts_ack 🌟 You know I love my workout videos but sometimes it’s nice to work up a sweat in a group exercise class 💦
Sometimes I pretend to be normal.
But it gets boring.
So I go back to being me 😉

It’s a late dinner kind of night for me! I made this for my family earlier, and let it sit in the crockpot for a few hours!!! I didn’t even use a recipe, and I have to say, it turned out pret-ty good 🙂. I like that I am able to use ingredients on hand and am learning how to experiment with flavors without relying on a recipe!
For anyone just starting out, IT GETS EASIER!! You get better!

You might think for me it's all about fitness but realistically what drives me is seeing WOMEN step up, make themselves a priority, step into their best bodies and becoming the best version of themselves!

Today was one of the BEST sessions we have had in ages. Hearing all the incredible new stories rolling through gets me every time! We do this every Friday morning at 9.30am, sessions are free or $5 for refreshments & child friendly 🍒
I’ve been feeling so tired and worn out for the last two weeks. At first I thought I was getting sick but then I realized that I’m just exhausted and need some me time. I took a day off from work today so that I can recharge and rest. It was a much needed self-care day. I’m feeling so much better just from one day of rest. I also had the best massage ever with hot Himalayan salt stones and my favorite essential oil (lavender). I feel so rejuvenated and energized. Take home message - Listen to your body and take note when your body is telling you to rest and take it easy. You’ll be happy you did. 💕

Master your Conventional and Sumo's before trying this out.
I saw @3dmj_godfather doing this the other day and it inspired me to try it out! Got up to 365 (not shown) for 1, and failed the 2nd.
Happy with the outcome for I have never done these in my life lol.
Things to focus on:
- Retract Scapula
- For Hypertrophy Purposes (don't jolt from the bottom, keep it smooth for TUT)
- Hook Grip tends to be better for this, I use Alternating Grip for both Sumo's & Conventional but it felt really awkward, which is one reason why I feel I didn't pull much weight.
- KEEP THE BUTT DOWN & BRING YOUR HIPS THROUGH (if you can't do this on conventional or sumo's you shouldn't try this hybrid style)
