It’s okay to have a hobby or a lifestyle that people don’t understand. Since I started prep back up again, I have already gotten those vibes of sympathy from people who don’t get it. Get really strong on overhead presses and I GUARANTEE you’ll have to start cutting the sleeves off your shirt😉.

2)Side Lateral Raises.
.
Often overlooked, but EXTREMELY important to get that wide, aesthetic look. The medial delt, refers to the part of the shoulder that builds the cap, and in order to create the “boulder” shoulder look, a healthy dose of lateral raises is a MUST in your routine.

BONUS EXERCISE:

3) Handstand Push Ups.😵
.
A very difficult movement, but one that can be done in the comfort of your own home! It’s winter here in Canada so I’ll be working on these so I don’t have to leave the house👌.

Work up to 3 sets of 10 with your feet kicked up against the wall! From personal experience, I noticed an IMMEDIATE difference when I started practicing handstand push ups.

Plus bodyweight Training is cool af😎.

Found another use for my #isolator arm bands and wrist cuffs.  @kalenamack #kalenamackattack  and myself did some front raises and #sidelaterals using #chains and attached them to the isolator instead of using straps for handles.  Now we can increase the consistent weight by holding dumbbells.  @isolatorfitness thanks for making a product that can be used to modify workouts in more than one way. #hodgebuilt #powerhousegym #powerhousegymaiea #shoulders #bouldershoulders #delts #girlswholift

My BACK TO THE BASICS shoulder workout! Start out with compound exercises, then move on to isolation exercises to hit each deltoid head.
*
Pick a weight that you reach near failure between 8-12 reps for each set. Focus on the eccentric (stretching/lowering the weight) part of the lift...control the weight down slow and then explode through the concentric (contracting/lifting the weight) part of the lift.

- Seated OHP (4 sets)
- Upright Row (4 sets)
- Machine Rear Delt Fly (3 sets)
- Cable Lateral Raise (3 sets)
- Front Raise (3 sets)
*
The last 3 exercises are the isolation portion - they can be done in any order. I train my rear delts first during that portion of the work out because I feel my rear delts are lagging, so I want to have more energy to train them (versus training them at the end when I have less energy).

Round 2 project "boulder shoulder" was a success. Although the picture does not portray this 😒 I got a great pump going this afternoon! Hey @slapnutrition didja miss me?! I have been using the @wildwestnutrition pre-workout "Bonnie" for awhile now and since I don't use supplements on the regular, I haven't doted on Slap in awhile. .

If you're like me (someone who loves veggies but is either too lazy to cook them or buy them, or is too busy to even buy food for the week - lol not really, but yeah that was me today) you'll so so appreciate getting some nutrients in your system in the best way possible: chocolate. Yep. It tastes like chocolate, not overly sweet, but it definitely doesn't taste like grass and it's a solid chocolate milk contender. And there are veggies...so I am the epitome of #health right? .

Oh! And I kinda spazzed when I saw the lanyard - like I didn't even prep my face, change eight times, or put on makeup. And that's the kinda joy you want when you open up a box 🙈🤣
