When the one person who should have your back, just....doesn’t, and didn’t, and won’t ever....🖕...at the very least i have learned from my mistakes—always, always trust your gut instinct 💔 onwards and upwards and never backwards ⭐️ #afi#burials#daveyhavok#musicistherapy
So I was rewatching the #adeepslowpanic music video and at a specific clip during the second chorus I see this young person walking towards some familiar architecture. And I knew I've seen it before. Well surprise surprise I was right. The place that specific clip was made was at the Milwaukee Public Art Museum in Wisconsin. I recognized the building and of course later they're standing by the Lake Michigan waterfront. Now I'm desperate to find that lucky #AFI fan that submitted this to be put in the music video.
Away from the regular weddings and birthday parties, yesterday we had a wake keep service coordination for PA Emmanuel Egun, the late father of the Director General of Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi. A man who lived such a good life is worth celebrating. Burials are reminders of how short our lifespan is, but death in Christ Jesus guarantees a life eternal!
The Russian Orthodox cross is the lasting marker of this Alaskan burial.
The 3 barred cross symbolizes Jesus Christ's crucifixion. The upper bar represents Christ's head. The middle bar, is for arms outstretched and the lower, slanted bar is the foot rest.
The foot rest of Christ's cross is slanted because it is believed that in the final moments before Jesus gave up his spirit, the foot rest was kicked out of place. One side of this slanted bar points up to heaven, the other, to hell. The spiritual meaning is that during the cruxifixction, the thief on Christ's right hand side confessed and went to heaven. While the thief on his left side, did not confess, and was sentenced to hell.
