Here’s some tips for guys (or girls) to help them gain muscle. ☝🏼💪🏼
Muscle is a by product of strength. So lads if you currently only bench 120 lbs, you will need to focus on building up to reps with 200 lbs in order to grow your chest. Likewise with military Press(shoulder exercise) etc
Progressive overload is the number one driver for muscle growth! Your focus shouldn’t be on getting to a goal weight instead it should be focused towards getting stronger on key lifts such as the ones I mentioned above.
Take home point here lads is the more frequent you do certain lifts the stronger you will get and therefore the bigger you will get.

Hip was very beat up after work but I accommodated it with my stance and slowing my lockout.. I'm quite a bit weaker in this stance but it never hurts so I'll just have to stick with it and hope for the best.. had a good pep talk from @b00mtown the other day and actually feel a lot better about my training all things considered.. thanks buddy!
Programming called for Equipped squats but with this head cold I definitely would have exploded lol

🏋🏽♂️UNILATERAL TRAINING🏋🏽♂️ Here i am demonstrating 3 exercises using one limb which is known as unilateral training which is the key to a strong, balanced physique.
Im lifting light enough weight but I’m focusing on my technique ,the benefits might not be obvious but
this type of training allows you to even out any strength or size imbalances. Most people tend to use one side of their body more than the other in everyday life and this bias can be even more if you only do bilateral training. Most sporting activities involve unilateral rather than bilateral movements, so adding unilateral exercises to your training can help improve sporting performance and reduce the risk of injury.
Unilateral training also works your stabilizer muscles which work to keep certain parts of the body stable and steady so the primary muscles can do their jobs efficiently.
Now get to the gym and get a bit one sided about your training guys!

130kg and 120kg for some singles with the Ram.. even my overload bench is poverty. Still the highlight of today's session as my deadlift and squat went absolutely terrible lol.. can't even remember the last time I didn't leave the gym pissed off
Picked up this sweet new toy today from Mike at @strongarmsport
The Magnum Ram by @titanpower81 !! Can't wait to try this bad boy out! Unlike the slingshot that has a 2 way stretch material, this is a 4 way stretch and is hefty and heavy duty af so I should be able to get a lot more volume in at a high percentage without wrecking my shoulder again. Super pumped to use this for all my overload training and it should help me with my shirted bench!
