**Impact Finance Day in Leipzig**
Some things should break your heart . . . We've met many people we could not help beyond giving a little bit of food, such as this father and his baby son on the streets of Delhi. Approximately 276 million people in India live below $1.25 per day. Today is the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Be the change. #love#hope#fazlsocks

THIS, right here, is what it's all about...
Melissa Hammell shared these beautiful words yesterday...
"I was walking downtown and approached a group of people that I might usually judge and/or feel intimidated by. Instead of putting my head down and pushing my way through [or crossing the street to avoid them], I smiled and said hello and excuse me and made a comment about the weather. I received smiles and hellos and comments about the weather back [imagine that!] An awesome reminder about checking the stereotypes in my head, not making assumptions, and remembering that we are all human."
I felt as though Melissa's observation and declaration was so inline with what the Good Human Experiment is all about, that I wanted to share it with you too!
Sadly, I've been guilty this.
For example, I used to hold my head down and stare at the sidewalk when passing a homeless person. Now, I try to make eye-contact and say hello. I think I was afraid that making eye-contact and acknowledging them meant I'd be an easy target to ask me for money [and so what? Big deal.]
But inside, I felt worse that I just walked past a living, breathing person and pretended they didn't exist.
Ugh. Punch to the gut. I stopped doing that because it didn't feel good to me anymore.
So yeah, sometimes I get asked for change. Most times though, I get a huge, appreciative, warm smile back. And sure, sometimes I get nothing.
We can acknowledge one another by realizing stereotypes are a sweeping generalization - a distortion of what society believes we are and are not. Stereotypes put a label on entire groups of people that dictate how they act. It does not take into account that we're all unique and contribute and behave in our own way.
Attempting to get past our stereotypes allows us to really see one another, so we can [hopefully] peacefully co-exist as humans sharing this planet together. .
So, let's all try it.
Today [and everyday] I encourage you to be more aware of your built-in stereotypes and try to move past them, if only to say hello and talk about the weather.

Just dropped off over 15 books to Detroit Enterprise Academy!!! So thankful to Principal Patterson and the DEA team for adding my books to their library. Can’t wait for the scholars to read the messages I wrote in each one! 📚📚📚
What are your thoughts, feelings, and words that you commonly use regarding your job? Relationships? Body? Health? …LIFE?
Back in the day I was a wonderful magnet for everything I DIDN’T WANT-Jobs I hated, relationships that were toxic, a laundry list of health issues(anxiety, depression, IBS, seizures) overwork, and non-stop stress. .
It wasn't until my journey in naturopathic medicine, personal growth, and yoga that I finally cracked what I thought was some "secret code" to turning my life around and getting the life I wanted... and now live- a job I love, amazing relationships, and vibrant health. The fulfillment, aliveness, and happiness I always craved. .
Guess what? You're invited to join me at Life in Alignment and learn how to stop the vicious cycle of attracting what you don't want and be a magnet for the life you DO want. .
A few spots left ladies! To sign up via link in bio @renatataravski 😘🙋🏼✨

As biz owners we're often taught about how to "sell." But direct selling never worked for me. I felt pushy and it rarely resulted in sales.
It wasn't until I shifted my focus from selling to truly making a difference in my clients lives that I started to make money. .
This focus lined me up with the soul purpose for creating my business and with this impact-driven focus money started to flow effortlessly.
Ask yourself...how can you be less money hungry and more impact-driven?
How does this change your energy around money and how you sell?
How does this make you FEEL?
Some days are hard and it takes all your strength to put one foot in front of the other;
Some days are easy and you live a life of complete flow;
Some days you realise that you have all that you need within you;
Some days you know that there is a higher purpose and something much greater for you than what you now hold.
This girl! She knew that.
She was not afraid to fail, she knew that failing didn’t mean losing that it meant learning.
Find her, she is within you waiting!

Creativity comes in all shapes and sizes. So many of us don't think that we're not creative but if you're building a business you're creating something from absolutely NOTHING. Think about that for a minute. This thing that never existed before has been brought to life by you. SNAP! If that ain't creative I don't know what is?!⠀

This incredible woman sang her song/chant of World Peace at the Universal Peace Federation Event! ☆ Inspirational Story: On a 'normal' London morning, as part of her normal daily weekday routine, Souli Roots walked into her office and settled into her work commitments. Everything seemed to progress as usual. However, all of a sudden 2 hours later, something began to yearn within Souli. Something wasn't right. As though lightning had struck her, Souli then jumped up, approached her boss, and quit her job. When she walked out of her now 'old' job, she felt overwhelmed, but for the first time, a true sense of liberation. Lost, and without even knowing how she got there, she then fumbled her way into the building of a London university, fell into an office of a professor and cried. Instead of turning her away with shock, this professor became Souli's inspiration as he asked her what her passion was. She replied, 'music'. Soon after, Souli gains the opportunity to enrol in an advanced music course at the university and is now in her 3rd year, spreading her chant of World Peace and seeking to change the world through music. ♡ Live Show: Watch Souli FREE at the World Peace Expression UK Roadshow event on the 26th of October! Doors open at 6pm!
Venue: Bojangles, 1 Old Church Road, Chingford E4 6SJ London.
With all that is going on (and wrong) with the world, we share a little reminder of our strength and our ability to be bigger than what we are facing and more powerful than what seems insurmountable #village#love#changemaker#unite
For any woman who has been assaulted, raped or made uncomfortable from unwanted sexual advances.
As women, we've been conditioned to just accept it - even though it's fucked up.
To be a female we have to be careful where we walk, what we wear... and if we do wear something provocative then we bloody well shouldn't tease, we might as well put out because we're acting as if we "want" it. If we don't and then was raped - we deserve it because we dressed that way and maybe flirted. 😒
To giggle nervously as a guy makes sexual advances that make us uncomfortable because if we tell them to fuck off we're a bitch - and then maybe followed and assaulted or raped - man I don't know how many times I've had to deal with that at gigs where I feel like punching that dude in the face.
To be careful not to walk past a group of men either on building sites or in quiet back streets - you all know what happens there.
And we've just gotten on with it... it's pretty sad and hopefully enlightening for the men reading this because as females we kinda know what to expect. It's old news that hasn't really been talked about.
I don't want my girls to feel this, but unfortunately thousands of years of women being the "lesser" sex and the patriarchy making the rules on our society has rooted itself deeply into human culture.
Yes we are luckier here than other countries, but seeing all the "me too" posts, it's obvious it's still a massive problem. I'm hoping that women & mens fast evolving empowerment can bring an end to this sad state of affairs.
In addition to the Jolie-Pitt’s own in-person advocacy, the foundation has donated many more millions of dollars to groups including the Namibia Red Cross and the Daniel Pearl Foundation. #ActForPositive#AngelinaJolie#PositiveCinema
Meet the co-founders!
This is Kai. Kai is a deep thinker and a wise guide. He holds the direction we are pointed towards, and stands one step ahead to study and connect what is needed for us to step forward. He is at the same time a systems thinker, a philosopher, a scientist, and an artist, and provides a rich and flavourful light to lead the path. If you met Kai, you would instantly be drawn to his open heart, his fun spirit and his insistence on making up his own rules (you will rarely catch him in a suit, for instance!)
Area of focus: Kai especially loves storytelling, group facilitations and conducting research
3 interesting facts about him:
- Kai spent 12 years in China before moving to Vancouver, and later to Toronto
- He spent more than 8 years studying at the University of Toronto: undergrad, Master's and PhD!
- He has no shame and has often been spotted around Toronto dancing and doing many other weird and funny things!
Throw back to earlier this year at the Small Business Champion Awards in Sydney. Recognising the efforts of entrepreneurs in the community is something I very much look forward to at our November conference #makemagichappen
Meet Adaline, our next #StrongGirlSpotlight from our Strong Girls Serve program! Adaline loves SGS because she gets to hang out with her friends while serving those in need. She says, "Last year was a lot of fun sorting food at the Food Bank and painting the mural. I also like knowing that the Little Free Pantry we helped create provides food for people in need when they have nowhere else to go for help." Well said, Adaline! 🙌💚 #stronggirlsserve
For a child in Africa, there's nothing better than receiving a new school uniform!
Well it means that a kind-hearted person has sponsored them, and they can now go to school and get an education that will allow them to follow their dreams.
When you sponsor a child, it gives them an education, and so much more.

I've been having lots of conversations lately about living.
Witnessing so many people who are so different and yet all the same. Some have a palpable mission and are taking brave actions, some feel as though they are in a stage of transition, and some have absolutely no idea who they are anymore.
Although we're all in different seasons of our lives, I witness our common humanity every single time I ask this question: HOW ARE YOU LIVING?
I see tears and nods and curiosity and a knowing behind the eyes because we know.
We know that this moment is everything.
How are you living?
Only you know the answer to this question because its barometer is our soul and we can feel it.
When you sit with the feeling, what is it inviting you into?.
• have more compassion when you're having a conversation with your mother.
• be polite to the shop keeper when you pay for your petrol.
• be more courageous with the work you're bringing into the world.
• be kind with your thoughts when you're resting your head on your pillow every night.
• smile more.
• be more present when you're with your friends.
• eat more vegetables.
It doesn't matter what your invitation says.
It just matters that you read it and rsvp.
The truth is that our legacy is unfolding right now.
It's not 'over there'.
I can't think of a more beautiful way of moving through the world than living every single moment in alignment with your highest vision for yourself.
You are her now. Not one day.
It is our most important work.
Nothing matters more.

I know that i’ve grown up wanting to be a people pleaser. I wanted everyone to like me, and if someone didn’t - i would do everything in my power to make sure they liked me! 😅⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What I realised that I put so much effort into making sure that everyone liked me, that it distracted me from being my true self. It caused me to bottle up how I truly felt towards the people around me, which made me really frustrated with myself. 🙈⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I want to encourage you as you start a new week to take the mask off and express yourself authentically when you’re with your friends and family this week! 💕🙋🏽
