@Regrann from @_anne.bonny_ - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un keeps his citizens on a tight leash, according to defectors, but the leader has now constricted his control even further by banning North Koreans from drinking and singing, according to a new report.Citizens have been banned from participating in “any gatherings related to drinking, singing and other entertainment,” Yonhap News Agencyreported Monday. The North Korean regime is also “strengthening control of outside information.” The ban is reportedly an effort to stifle “a possible negative impact” of sanctions against North Korea in response to its recent nuclear tests. The rogue state has also taken action against its military, by “undertaking an inspection of the military politburo” due to an “impure attitude toward the party leadership,” according to Reuters.
Top military officials — including bureau chief Hwang Pyong-so and deputy chief Kim Won-hong — were punished as a result of the investigation, but it’s unclear how they were disciplined.

And we don't even know about this war... yet.
Save the Children reported that 130 Yemeni children are now dying every day from extreme hunger or disease, with 50,000 dead this year alone. Meanwhile, the cholera epidemic, triggered by a combination of the war’s crippling of water sanitation systems and the Hadi government’s decision to block payments to all waste, sewage and health workers in Houthi-controlled areas - became the biggest in recorded history last month, with almost 900,000 infected by the disease. The previous biggest epidemic, still underway in Haiti, took seven years to reach 800,000 cases. Yemen surpassed that number in just six months. An Israeli court on Monday evening sentenced the Palestinian student Ansam Shawahna, aged 20, to five years in jail and a two-year suspended term.
Ansam’s father, Abdul Nasser, told the Palestinian Information Center that his daughter attended at least 26 court hearings over the past 20 months, during which she had been subjected to exhausting inter-prison transfers from Damon to HaSharon jail and to Kishon investigation center.
The father added that the court initially ruled that Ansam be sentenced to 10 years in jail but the lawyer appealed the verdict.
The Palestine Prisoners Center for Studies confirmed the piece of news, adding that Ansam was sentenced to a prison-term after she had been held in Israeli lock-ups with trial for 20 months.
Ansam was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces on March 9, 2016 near Israel’s illegal settlement outpost of Kadumim, built on Palestinian land east of Qalqilya, on her way back home from an-Najah University in Nablus.
The occupation army accused Ansam of attempting to stab an Israeli settler. Shortly after, she had been made to endure intensive interrogation for over two weeks, before she was transferred to HaSharon jail and then to Damon.
The center added that the Israeli courts adjourned Ansam’s trial for over 25 times before ultimately sentencing her to a five-month prison term and a two-year suspended sentence.

A number of Palestinians were kidnapped and others injured by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at daybreak Tuesday in abduction sweeps rocking the West Bank.
Eight Israeli army patrols stormed the home of the slain Palestinian protester Samer Awad in Nablus’s southern town of Ourata at the crack of dawn and wreaked havoc on the building, before they subjected the locals to field interrogation.
At the same time, two Palestinian young men from Balata camp, in Nablus, were injured by Israeli snipers during clashes that broke out following a mass break-in by Israeli settlers into Joseph’s Tomb, east of Nablus.
Overnight, two Palestinian youths from the Marshoud family, including an ex-prisoner, were kidnapped by the IOF at Hawara checkpoint, south of Nablus.
The occupation army further cracked down on Palestinians at a makeshift checkpoint set up near the main entrance to Jenin’s western town of Rumana.
Palestinian vehicles and civilians passing through the area have been made to endure intensive searches.
The IOF also stormed a carwash owned by the Palestinian citizen Muadh al-Ahmed, before they cordoned off Palestinian olive groves. Read more at https://english.palinfo.com/30096

This shit has nothing to do with race just the ussual strong preying on the weak. It also has to do with culture, it's okay for them to own slaves in 2017 which is very sad. The western world which is quick to judge while the only difference between them is they use more subtle methods like minimum wage.
Just watched @lavar interview on CNN and I am livid; my brother you have to do better. You’re ignorance has no bounds, how are you lucky enough to have your son get a get out of jail free card in China and still be to prideful to thank the person that made it happen. The commander and chief of one of the greatest nations to ever exist made a conscious decision to help your son get out of prison in a communist country; this is something that would not have been done for just anyone (which is an injustice of its own) but it was done for you and you have the audacity to say you should be thanked. Come on brother have some humility for whit hubris comes nemesis #lavarball#ballbros#worldstar#complex#cnn
Back in June 1997 CNN released 'The War Report' with so much buzz and anticipation for the duo I felt like I'd heard most of the album already through various leaks and singles, however this was one solid album before it all went a bit awry for hip hop back in the 90's. We had all heard 'LA LA' which was the response to Tha Dogg Pound's 'New York, New York' but the first single I had heard was 'Stick You' with its extended stops during the record, like mini interludes cutting up the track, the track was reflective of that Mobb Deep sound back in the mid 90's. Tragedy Khadafi featured heavily on the album and had by now shaken off his Intelligent Hoodlum persona completely. One of my favourite songs on the album is 'Capone Bone', Capone's solo track which utilises a D'Angelo sample in the hook to create a unique 'for the ladies' track, don't be fooled by this as it doesn't compromise with some sugar coated backdrop to sell more records. Of course 'Bloody Money' starts the album. a track i've seen warm up many hip hop gigs despite never being an official single. There were also a lot more leaks that never made the album and most disappointing of all was 'Calm down' with Nas, another song which would have fitted perfectly with the theme of the overall album.
Happy Birthday to legendary radio/TV talk show host Larry King! 1986 INTERVIEW by Bob Andelman
LARRY KING interview excerpt: "When I was a kid, I’d ask questions of people and they’d always answer. At baseball games, other kids wanted autographs from the ‘players; I wanted to talk. I walked down the street once with Leo Durocher. I asked him, ‘Why did you bunt? Why did you do this?’ and he answered. I think it comes from being sincere. If you’re sincerely interested in the person, you should have no problem. Nobody can teach you that.” https://mrmedia.com/2017/11/staying-up-late-larry-king-1986-interview/
