On June 24, 2017, Officer Andrew Holland with the Colorado Springs Police Department in Colorado Springs, CO. was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident while escorting Vice President Mike Pence’s motorcade to Peterson Air Force Base.
No explanation was given as to how the accident happened, but all sources and agencies wanted to be sure the public knew it was only an ACCIDENT!! Just a freak thing that happened, and only Officer Holland was involved.
Officer Holland has been employed by CSPD for 8 years and has been a motorcycle officer for five years. His surgery was successful and his status was upgraded from critical to stable. Vice President Pence telephoned Officer Holland’s wife to check on his condition and was happy to hear the injuries were not life threatening.
As everyone prays for Officer Holland’s continued recovery and healing, we are sending our quilt to him for those same reasons. We pray it brings him comfort and assures him that we appreciate the sacrifices he makes daily. Our Quandary holster for one Colorado's finest. This is his off-duty set up. It's our first time making a holster for the railed version of the Glock 36. Add an XC1 light and the zero tolerance knife and you got one hell of a backup or concealed carry rig.
