Hobo with a Shotgun (2011)
This movie is a gore lovers dream. It’s an absolute hidden gem and not widely discussed. If you haven’t seen it, I would totally recommend it. Its an 80s love film, its Grindhouse and it’s super violent. Exploitation films are always really great to me. It’s just so much fun and really satisfying cause everyone he shoots deserves it. It’s in the title, you have to check it out. ⚰️🔪📼💀
Something about an old style “Now Showing” board really gave our collection room a classic and old fashioned touch. It’s also super fun because we make a BIG deal out of movie time (even if I watch 3-4 a day). So it’s just another day and another classic, with a new twist. Hope everyone is having a fantastic horror filled and spooky day! 🔪⚰️🕷🕸🥀📼💉

Grabbed The Thing artbook released by @printedinblood and there's some truly amazing stuff in here, so many artists with so many styles, drawing one of the best movies ever made. Also grabbed 4 of the contributing artists signatures which was pretty awesome!
Excellent sequel. Just brilliant! Got a lot of action scenes & some new dinosaurs, my favorite being the Parasaurolophus. There are a lot of great moments, like when the T-Rex’s push the van over the cliff. Real gripping suspense. Speaking of T-Rex, we get to see a baby Tyrannosaurus, which is just great. And 2 adult T-Rex’s which is interesting. The special effects have gotten an upgrade & look real well. Still hold up after 20 years. Another thing well done is The Lost World theme by John Williams. Very kick-ass & a great replacement over the Jurassic Park theme. The jungle scenes are all great but, I also like when the T-Rex goes on a rampage in San Diego. Overall, I don’t really care whether or not it’s as good as Jurassic Park (1993). Honestly, it just doesn’t matter to me. The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) is a great film on it’s own.
