Pretending helps children make sense of the world around them by allowing them to experiment with different actions and ideas. Here are some ways you can help to encourage imaginative play in your child:
1. Purchase toy items that encourage make-believe play (plastic food, tea set, toy phone, etc.) You play with them pretending to use these items and encourage your child to imitate.
2. Play dress up using costumes of your child's favorite characters.
3. Go back to the basics: give them household items to play with (cardboard boxes, cooking spoon and bowl)
4. Expose them to new experiences that will spark creativity (trips to the zoo, parks, farm, etc.)
5. Read, Read, Read, in the words of Dr. Suess: "Oh, the places you'll go!
Walking where there once was air.
A mid week stroll amongst the happenings.
Propped up, as the foundation sets, gazing outwards towards tomorrow.

TLDR; buy an impact bracelet, support East African communities with income opportunities and sustainable development initiatives
Hey friends!! Some of you may know I've been working on a social enterprise initiative with the communities in Tanzania and Kenya that I work with.
We have a group from an internally displaced persons camp, a group of people with disabilities, a group of reformed youth, and a family in Tanzania - currently training in beadwork to make these nifty little handmade bracelets.
SO, with Valentine's Day coming up & the recent marriage equality laws passing (yay love), we have some beautiful collections for you to purchase!
You can order the pride range (rainbow background) with the options of either: (a) no writing (b) PRIDE
(c) LOVE (d) ALLY (e) provide a custom request
OR we can make them with plain backgrounds as well (see the last image - the one I'm currently working on). Also feel free to send through any other custom requests until our set collection is finalised !
Price: $10 USD a piece (or 10% discount on bulk orders of more than 10 - so get your friends together!) The bracelets provide these awesome groups with income opportunities to help get them back on their feet and sustain themselves.
But the other AWESOME part is 100% of PROFITS are reinvested back into funding community development initiatives (based on needs assessments that are being conducted). Direct PM me
or EMAIL at email@example.com for ALL ORDERS & ENQUIRIES
