Hey guys! So I've been using RF's newest and unique product, Active Hydration Serum and I'm super impressed. It's pretty much doing exactly what's happening in the adorable 🍇 pic (swipe right) And my pic is a few hours after applying it and I'm still dewy!!! Won't you read a bit more with me?
So a question I keep getting is that they already use a moisturizer, and do they need Active Hydration Serum?.
Short answer: YES....
Next question has been "But, why???" 😩
Longer answer: Hydration and moisturizers address dryness differently. While moisturizers work to form a barrier on top of the skin to prevent moisture loss, hydration actually works to ADD water to the skin.
ALL skin types need hydration, just like all need moisture. Hydration helps nourish the skin from within, and a moisturizer helps seal in what is already there.

FAITH DOES NOT ELIMINATE DOUBT
Can we agree on this? Please? Like, this has to be the most basic level of common sense...but like all common sense, it is quite uncommon to find someone who truly understands and appreciates this truth.
In case you are struggling to understand how the existence of faith does not eliminate doubt, consider the more obvious truth that courage does not eliminate fear! Do you know that? Can you appreciate that? Without fear, there would be no need for courage. And without the existence of doubt, there would be no need for faith. But courage and faith are made beautiful, because they rise above the basic instincts of humanity, to doubt and to fear. This, I think, is why God says that His righteous ones shall live by faith (Heb 10:38). Let me give you an illustration using courage and fear again. In a state of war, it is right that everyone - even the soldiers, prepared for battle, armed with weapons - will know the feeling of fear! But while others hide and cower, the soldiers go boldly forward, because they have courage and FAITH that they can win against their opposition. The only one who would not have a trace of fear... N. T. WRIGHT ON BIBLICAL AUTHORITY
I read something this morning that I would like to share with you all. I hope you will take the time to read it and be blessed by it. It is about the much misunderstood topic of Biblical authourity by N. T. Wright, from his Laing Lecture in 1989.
I am not a follower of N. T. Wright. I am also not Anglican, as he is, and so I don't suppose I will find 100% agreement with him. This is in fact the first of his writings I've ever read. Someone who I have been debating with on the inerrancy of the Bible thought I would find it interesting, so I went to the trouble of reading it. I'm glad I did!
I found it very profound, and he showed a lot of wisdom and understanding of the power and authourity and will of God for man. I can't point to anything I disagree with in what he said. He basically unraveled my mind on this topic of the Bible and how it is handled today. It was a painstakingly way to get to the heart of the matter, but I think anyone who is looking for understanding should go the lengths of reading it all... “Travel is more than the seeing of sights; it is a change that goes on, deep and permanent, in the ideas of living.” – Miriam Beard // I've been contemplating this quite a bit since returning from the south of Spain. I love living in New York (having moved from Canada 2 years ago) because it is one of the most electric and exciting cities in the world. However, travelling to Europe always makes me wonder how much of my personal values and lifestyle preferences are even in sync with the North American way of life...I don't have all the answers but I suppose that's why it's important to keep discovering new places that make us question our comfort zones...
Today's Insta-story (click profile picture to view) is a flip-through of Dan Eckstein's @daneckstein coffee table book "Horn Please: The Decorated Trucks of India" published by powerHouse Books @powerhousebooks. "Brightly decorated trucks are a fixture of the highways' visual landscape. Their drivers spend long hours on the road and the trucks serve as a second home [...] The interiors and exteriors of the trucks are colorfully decorated with elaborate paintings, stickers, garlands, tassels, and shrines [...] The truck design varies greatly from region to region and is a unique form of Indian folk art."
