A couple #estatesalefinds from down the street this morning.
The Radio Flyer is in pretty good shape and has already started to clean up nicely with just a wire brush (results in the 3rd picture) but still some more work to do. I thought it was a steal at $15!
The foot locker appears to have belonged to an #airforce Captain Norris stationed at #PACUSA APO 925 possibly sometime during the #koreanwar . There is a 20¢ James Garfield postage stamp and some $1 Woodrow Wilson stamps from when it was mailed to Yonkers, NY
I'm still pinching myself: I found THIS fabulous antique porcelain onion board from France (swipe for mark) waiting for me at Day 3 of an estate sale! Just brought my 4 boxes plus 1 bag of loot to the car and am feeling giddy - hence the in-the-car little loot share 😉Found some fun stuff, fair amount of it European, all at one sale! Can't wait to get home, dry off and then share some of the highlights 😊
More Healthtex vintage available in shop, Baby Boy or Baby girl , the quality of fabrics and style details made lasting impressions thru the decades. The Standard Romper company started in 1921, biggest competitor was Carters , another interesting American success story .
I also have a problem with collecting old cameras at estate sales. But they’re just so cool! The last one I got is practically brand new (the little brownie in the front!) #vintagecameras#estatesalefinds
