Two former British colonies with almost similar administration system and with long historical trade relationship. Both speak English
eloquently albeit the interesting slangs which reminded me of IELTS listening test.
Especially when we started introducing one another from both sides, you seriously know which one has become the Land of Truly Asia.
Recently, I had the most amazing time speaking at my Alma Mater. I participated in a panel for grad students in the @Northwesternu Masters of Communication program about managing complexity in the workplace. I'll let you in on a little secret: Initially, I was feeling a little anxious about speaking in front of this audience!
However, I was able to face and move beyond those feelings of nervousness by setting an intention to connect with and inspire those around me. It ended up being an incredible experience that I am forever grateful for. They were a warm and inviting bunch; and the panel and I enjoyed exchanging ideas and laughs. As the wise Eleanor Roosevelt said, "Do something every day that scares you." What will you do that scares you?
