I ended up buying those pants about 1 month ago, since they were on clearance. Gotta love Calvin Klein! Finishing up day 3 of my fast and it's been incredibly hard! My mom made this delicious dinner and the whole house had this amazing smell to it. I so badly wanted to just dig in, but didn't. I bought chicken broth and Himalayan salt, to help with nutrients and electrolytes. I'm currently not exercising, since I've never fasted before. Hope day 4 is better! 💕•

So many temptations all around me. I've been trying to distract myself from these immense waves of hunger. What keeps me going is the fact that completing this will show me how much I undermine the amount of willpower I have. It will help me change my relationship with food. Here's to hoping day 3 is a million times better than day 2!•

Hit 38.5 miles last week so naturally when I woke up before the sun for my scheduled double digit run, I decided it wasn’t happening yet. Tomorrow IT WILL HAPPEN but today I went to the gym to sweat on the stair climber and then tackled some circuit training on the turf instead. It’s ok to listen to your body but still make sure you’re getting things done instead of making excuses, there’s a difference. Anyways, feeling like Monday instead of Sunday today!⭐️

Cutting: Because of the possible negative impacts of rapid weight loss & long periods of calorie restriction (Hall & Lane 2001, Koral & Dosseville 2009), current literature recommends a gradual weight loss through moderate energy restriction, promoting losses of 0.5–1kg/wk (Fogelholm 1994, Rankin 2002). The only way to induce this weight loss is through a calorie deficit (Guyenet & Schwartz 2012) which can be achieved by reduced energy intake, increased energy expenditure, or a combination of both. However, a decrease in body mass resulting from LARGE deficits & rapid weight losses can compromise recovery, impair training adaptations/performance & risk excessive LBM loss (Nattiv et al 2007,  Koutedakis et al 1994) thus smaller deficits are advised. Furthermore, ensuring you have adequate protein along with strength training is crucial as they have both shown to aid in preserving LBM during energy deficits (Kraemer et al 1999, Helms et al 2013).

Bulking: Strength training & a positive energy intake are the 2 most important factors for LBM gain (Garthe et al 2011) and whilst LBM gains have still been reported WITHOUT an energy surplus (Donnelly et al 1993) a positive energy balance does create a more optimal, anabolic environment for muscle growth along with facilitating intense training therefore, diets seeking to optimise LBM gains should ideally consist of a SLIGHT calorie surplus (Aragon et al 2017). Decided to take things to the next level. On Thursday night I was headed to my favorite Japanese restaurant in Boston to have some chicken skewers and a glass of sake (I know, not keto), but luckily enough the bar was packed so I decided to take myself to the Institute of Contemporary Art and afterwards walk around the Seaport area. It felt like a sign to just not eat and I ended up eating last night, making it a 48 hour fast. Yesterday was my last meal and I want to now do a 72 hour fast. Next meal will be on Monday. I feel like fasting isn't just beneficial for the weight loss, but so many things. Besides OMAD, I will be incorporating a lot of fasting into my weight loss journey. Food has controlled my mind and life all my life and I'm so tired of it. It's time to have control over it. If i can do a prolonged fast isn't it like training my willpower muscle? I plan on doing this 72 hour fast, eating a meal afterwards, go back to a 4 day fast, breaking it with one meal, then do a 5 day fast. Bloating is so REAL but SO normal. Some people bloat more than others, but anything you put in your body that it isn’t necessarily used to will bloat you, end of story. 
Tips to help with bloating:
🔹get a good nights sleep (8 hours minimum)
🔹fasted runs are EVERYTHING to burn off that extra fuel still in your body.
🔹MORE PROTEIN, and less carbs to start your day.

I’ve started a new cardio 🏃🏽‍♀️ routine and fingered you’d all love it 😍 •
I jump on the treadmill for either morning🌞 cardio or to warm my self up💦 before whatever I plan on working out that day !💪🏽

I start with a 3.5 fast walk for .1 miles then the intervals begin 🤭 you want to then go to a jog! I do my jog at a 6.0, your gunna jog at your speed for 45 sec than raise ⬆️ that speed to something that will make you winded💨( I go up to a 8.0) and run that for 45 sec!🤙🏽

It may take a couple times to realize what’s your jog and your sprint but that’s okay 👌🏾 •
I do these 45 sec interval untill I run a mile 💦but you can stop✋🏼 whenever you feel you need a break, but remember 🤔 to push yourself till you can’t go No more!!

If this is just a warmup I stop at my mile and start my lifting 🏋🏼‍♀️ but if it’s cardio day I then hit the stair master, bicycle 🚲, and elliptical for 10 min each! •
Alway REMEMBER what works for me doesn’t❌ mean it will work for you or anyone else! Try it out and change a few things if you have to! 📝
