ZAZ Zaporozhets ( Ukrainian Запорожець) was a series of wheel drive superminis city cars designed and built from 1958 in ZAZ factory in Soviet Ukraine. The name Zaporozhets comes from Zaporozhska Sich o Zaporizhska oblast. In Soviet times each family with low incomes could permit to buy this car and people often attributed a bad taste for those who had it. Now we see it with different eyes...
