Shot photos at the Some Turkey Trot in DC for work (had planned to run it but forgot to register and onsite was $50 for untimed.  I’m a #prizefighter) so went over to Alexandria for that turkey trot! After passing the 3 mile marker, turned on the final kick. .... and kept going.... . Half a mile later realized it was a longer race. Pulled back. Regrouped and finished the 5 miler! First time at that distance so it’s a #PR w 45:25. Been trying to #fatadapt and ended up unintentionally doing it at MAF (150 max hr, 140 hr avg) while pushing it. Also got to run with @tinerson205 !!! And and I had a social media friend sighting!! Met THE @capitalrunnergirl ! Happy thanksgiving all! And yes I rock cowboys gear every thanksgiving. Just a little fyi my plates often look over filled  or like I have huge portions but I religiously serve my food on the smaller plate in this picture.  It's the bread and butter plate. We eat with our eyes and the food I serve on a bread and butter plate looks plentiful and fills me every time the same amount of food on the 'mains' plate looks small and empty and I can always finish it and want more. It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavorings.... DO YOU KNOW.. The difference between margarine and butter?

Will also eat some cheese, nuts and 90% Chocolate after!

The greatest advantage of Indian cooking is the high use of whole & powdered SPICES, ginger, garlic, onions and ghee, which are all loaded with amazing things for the body. The Indian diet minus the GRAINS become a super healthy diet.

Tasty Tuesday!! When your goal is to get the majority of your #macros from good fats (as is mine), ☄️FAT BOMBS are a quick, convenient way to get them in!  Most have the base of coconut oil or butter (this one calls for both and I forgot to add the butter 😩, but they're still tasty.) .
CHOCOLATE ALMOND FAT BOMBS
•1 cup melted Coconut Oil
•1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
•1 tablespoon Stevia Sweetener (I used 1 tsp)
•½ to 1 teaspoon sea salt
•4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
•½ cup almond butter
•2 tablespoons grass-fed butter
Add-ins – Almonds, unsweetened coconut, berries (optional) * I added coconut
Paper cupcake liners * I use a silicone tray (2nd pic 👉🏼)
**Combine all ingredients in a food processor (I used my Vitamix blender), then pour.  Place in refrigerator to set.  Store in fridge in airtight container. .

Not very interesting but some people may find it interesting that I did not eat before, during, or directly after the event and drank only water. I ate my first piece of food at 5pm (3.5 hours after completing the event), 20 hours after eating my last meal.

This was the video that made me realize a change was needed.
I had just had my son and was below my pre pregnancy weight. I felt great to be below that pregnancy weight but OMG i couldnt believe thay VIDEO.

I knew a few ppl doing keto and jumped into it after doing a ton of reading. 
It took along time to figure out meal plan ideas but once i did it and took the time it has becone so natural.

Still have aways to go but never looking back.
