➡️ Don't ever let your food go to waste🍴
Wait, what? 🤔
Yes that's probably the best long term advice we can ever give 💯
What does that mean? Well we all know it's not practical to diet for the rest of our lives. Birthdays will happen, Holidays will pass, and good food will always be around!
Instead of gaining a ton of weight, feeling guilty, and then punishing yourself back into diet mode make your food go towards something useful.
Always always continue lifting. .
▫️Lifting weights will help teach your body what to do with that food. Meaning that the surplus of food will help your body build more muscle rather then just piling on the fat.
▫️Lifting weights will keep a strong metabolism. Therefore, when it is time to diet your body will be an efficient fat burning machine!
▫️Lifting weight will keep your confidence high! Even if you do end up gaining a couple extra pounds, you will still be strong, powerful, and energetic. .
Hope this helps prevent the extreme gains/losses.
What tricks do you have to keep you in check?

Just watched this documentary What the Health on Netflix and I dunno but, maybe I’m gonna have to go vegan. I was drinking a glass of milk and eating a salmon burger while watching it and almost couldn’t force myself to finish! 🙁😳 Meanwhile, here’s Zach and Ashley being fierce af musicians up in here!
Strength day... lifting weights just fuels something inside me that I didn't know was there. I was the CARDIO only girl, the runner who on cross training days just ran more. Lifting would make me bulky, would make me gain weight (which I was terrified of), would make my manly... boy was I WRONG! Lifting has helped lean me out in certain places and made my muscles stronger and pop in others. My weight hasn't fluctuated but my clothes fit better. I feel ACCOMPLISHED at the end of my workouts and not defeated.
So if you are anything like I was....don't be scared of lifting weights... your body will thank you for it ✌🏼💜💙 #liftweights#strengthtraining#transformationtuesday
Today's little reminder to be BOLD!🔥 It's time to woman up and turn down the voice of that insecure little girl - to make more room for that badass woman looking at the world with HUNGRY EYES. - Who's with me?
🌊 "Freedom feels like release. It’s unclenching, untethering myself from an outcome. Letting go. A sense of expansiveness. Being open, and light. Being wildly, authentically me – in any given moment. Speaking my truth, with love." - Rachel Macdonald

Sati, also known as Dakshayani, is a Hindu Goddess of longevity and marital felicity. An aspect of Parvati or Goddess Adi Shakti, Dakshayani is the first consort of Lord Shiva. Sati is known to be extremely fiery, with a frightening temper. However, she is also loving and extremely benevolent by nature.
According to Hindu legend, both Sati and Parvati are aspects of the Devi, who helped Shiva come away from his ascetic isolation and involve himself in Samsara (the material world). This legend is associated with the destruction of Daksha's sacrifice and the origin of the Shakti Peethas of India. This is one of the eight legends portraying Shiva as the destroyer of evil.
Sati, the consort of Shiva was the daughter of Daksha Prajaapati a descendant of Bhrama.. Sati had married Shiva against the wishes of her father. The vain Daksha performed a great yagna (with the sole aim of insulting Shiva), to which he invited all of the gods and goddesses except his son in law Shiva. Against Shiva's wishes, Sati attended this sacrifice and was insulted by her father. Unable to bear this insult, Sati immolated herself.
Enraged at the insult and the injury, Shiva through Veerabhadra, destroyed Daksha's sacrifice, cut off Daksha's head and replaced it with that of a goat, as he restored him to life. Still crazed with grief, he picked up the remains of Sati's body, and danced the dance of destruction throughout the Universe. The other gods intervened to stop this dance, and the disk of Vishnu cut through the corpse of Sati, whose various parts of the body fell at several spots all through the Indian subcontinent and formed the sites of what are known as Shakti Peethas today.
