In Portugal there are more than a hundred fig plantations.

Some days I don’t really have meals I just eat heaps of delicious snacks and make sure I balance my macros for when I need energy the most. This little snack was sooooo good. A small slice of toasted whole gain sour dough bread, spread with low fat cottage cheese, rocket, spinach, wild figs I picked on yesterday’s walk 😝 and some pancetta I fried up yesterday- so simple and so dam tasty! 💁🏻♀️ Ps- my local Coles has started baking fresh multigrain sour dough and it’s so delicious, I don’t really eat much bread so if I am going to it has to be freshly baked, preservative free and whole grain 👌🏼
