Played a new Yoga playlist this morning and got in deep stretches, booty work and ran through few yoga poses & plank holds. ▪Todays's workout snippets were thanks to procrastination, and a bit of pre- anxiety thanks to childhood traumatic dental visits. .
▪Anywhoooo..🤔....No matter how many times I have been to the denstist, routine visits still give me the nervousness & this was a little more than routine visit as you know I was just there a week ago for my first cleaning Post Braces. As EXCITING as this journey has been, why did my past Anxieties try to steal my JOY of this day??!!!.
NOT TODAY, RIGHT!?!?! 😁🤗🤗LUCKY for my friends @willowdentalgroup, they were patient, understanding and validated my fears. .

🥋This one is an ancient ninja secret that I learned while studying Kenpo (karate) as a wee lad. It’s awesome for improving focus, body awareness, control, balance, reaction, and coordination...all really important stuff not just for martial arts, but living life as a squishy human. All of that stuff plays a role in injury prevention, which is a good thing to consider if longevity is a goal.
🤸🏻♂️The process of all of that is also pretty damn fun. Remember when movement was playful and fun (as opposed to grueling and torturous)? Yeah, let’s get more of that.
🎯The objective is to knock your partner off balance by either finding a weak spot and literally pushing them so they lose their footing; OR acquiesce to the force that they’re putting into trying to push you over so they lose their footing before you do. To intensify it, try it on one leg, while moving, with your eyes closed, or some combination thereof. Make it your own, because who else can own your body and your fitness but you?
Better yet, get it DONE before you are DOWN!!👏🏼👍🏽💪🏾💣💥

Felt so good to bust out the tall riding boots today! These bad boys are borrowed from my sister's closet (which is basically how I get 99% of my wardrobe)! Who else loves any easy boot that pretty much pairs with any outfit --- fancy, casual, or homeless look? 😄
We are doing "My BIG Vision - Vision Board" Workshop this weekend as a BONUS for all VIP Inner Circle and Online LIVE Interactive Group Class Members...... why? Because I truly believe that the visual of beautiful photos, words and colours can be amazing! Visualization is one of the most powerful mind exercises you can do!
Here are some questions I have gotten about this workshop:
Q: What should I put on my vision board?
A: Anything that inspires and motivates you. The purpose of your vision board is to bring everything on it to life. First, think about what your goals are in the following areas: relationships, career and finances, home, travel, personal growth (including spirituality, social life, education) and health. ** We will actually be doing a pre-workshop exercise to go over these ideas.
Q: Should I have one main vision board, or a bunch of small ones for different areas of my life?
A: It’s totally up to you. What makes the most sense in your life? I personally like to have one central vision board that I look at every day. BUT if you need a few all around (your office, the car, the bathroom - Go for it!) Q: How often should I redo my vision board?
A: Whenever it feels right. I often redo my board every December. I give the board a total refresh to get clear about what I want in the new year. Some things stay and some have served their purpose and don’t make the cut.
