Have been playing around with some new bits for my shop @beautifully.boho and want some opinions please 🙏🏻 if you were to purchase either the hoop or garland at a Christmas craft fayre would you go for these types of colours to use all year around or traditional colours of Christmas i.e reds, greens and golds?
We had to retire our wood mandap this week due to the frame becoming warped over time...😭😞...BUT we like to stay positive so here's a few of our fav moments with the square, 4-posted beauty! 🌷🌿🌺🍃🌹 #rip#mandap#chuppah
I like the way you work it, no diggity, I got to (flower) it up 🌸
Behind the scenes set up for my friend @sandraleighb. My standard work uniform is work out apparel. Fun fact: my shoes have "Murph" written on one tongue and "Lee" on the other. My middle name is Murphy, so my husband called me Murphy Lee (who is a famous rapper) for a long time 🤷🏻♀️
When your friends (who have enough rooms in their house for a dedicated pool room 🤔) leave you their keys so that you can install something cool while they’re out. Hello autumnal garland. 👋🏻 I did also sit on their gigantic sofa and drink tea when I’d finished. Well, they did say make yourself at home. #whoonearthhasapoolroom#itistotallyfabulous#thanksgaults

It’s 2 am and I’m trying to wind down from wedding prep. This is how it almost always goes: I go back and forth on how soon to pick up my perishable supplies. I get them two days before, haul and store them. The day before the event, I realize I need some more supplies and go back to get them. I run more prep errands. I get home and take a deep breath. After 4-5 hours I might panic. I maybe cry out for help. Two extremely busy women run to my rescue. They have kids, homemaking, and their own businesses. After they boost me back up and add to the completed order, I keep going...my semi neglected kids get put to bed by Dad. I ask/threaten/bribe my husband to help me make it through, but it’s not necessary. He’s there. He takes an unflattering picture of me but it’s probably out of love. I look at the finished work (tomorrow I will have more pics) and picture the wonderful recipients. I doubt, question, squint, reposition, admire, and eventually call it good. I reassure myself on residual worries in that flowers are typically the extra touch, the icing on the cake, not the main event. I don’t know how to swing this on my own; it’s impossible. It’s also impossibly satisfying. I‘m lucky I can do events BECAUSE of the support of other people. I hope they find a little joy in it too.
