on the menu: ground turkey & green beans w brown rice, spaghetti sauce with zucchini noodles, spicy chicken w broccoli & sweet potatoes, honey lemon chicken w asparagus & brown rice, steel cut oatmeal, denver egg cups, sausage balls, banana nut muffins, yogurt parfaits w homemade granola, and all the fruit/veggies/raw nuts for snacks.... #whew 😅
only 2nd week back into meal prepping, but this week was so much faster and easier than last week... all this took about 5 hours and $100 ($25 per person)... absolutely worth it to have my entire week ready to go 👌🏼 #mealprepsunday
Hey glow-getters! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend.I’m on a train to Pismo Beach so I thought I’d take a minute to talk about HYDRATION and how important it is for HEALTH.
Over 70% of your body is made of WATER and every FUNCTION in the body is dependent on water so properly hydrating is ESSENTIAL.
FACTS ON WATER AND HYDRATION:
-Water flushes TOXINS from the body
- Water helps MUSCLES and joints work better. -Drinking water and BRAIN function are integrally linked. Keeping hydrated can help with focus, memory, BRAIN FOG, headaches, sleep issues and depression.
-Water helps maintain a proper body WEIGHT.
-When you feel thirsty, your body is likely already insufficiently hydrated.
-Water helps fight FATIGUE and is a source of ENERGY for your body.
-Plenty of Water promotes healthy, GLOWING skin.
HOW TO DRINK MORE WATER:
1. Cut out the coffee, teas and soda and drink water instead
2. First thing in the morning drink at least 2 glasses of water with lemon.
3. Fill up your water bottle and bring it with you everywhere!
4. Drink a glass or two of water before meals.
5. Eat more fruit. Fruit is very hydrating and is made up of the perfect water filled with vitamins and electrolytes.
Drinking water can seem like a simple thing, but for me when I was suffering with #fibromyalgia when I drank enough water I felt noticeably less muscle pain and fibro-fog. So it really does make a difference!

You don’t have to save your thermos for winter soups and meals! With this hot weather we’ve been having lately 🔥 I’ve enjoyed using our thermos to keep food COOL ❄️. Yesterday as we headed to the beach I packed up some chopped fruit, so we could enjoy some cold, refreshing fruit salad by the sea 🌊👌🏻

You could also call the tomato an anti-aging food, anti inflammatory foods are LIFE🍅
Suffer Reflux? Best to add the tomato to your sometimes food list. Vine ripened is less acidic and worth a try👆🏻
Mums: Introducing tomato’s to a baby is recommended around 10-12 months mainly due to the higher acidity levels. Keep an eye out for little mouth spots and nappy rash/acidic poo.

• 1/2 frozen banana🍌
• 1 cup frozen cauliflower (for thickness)
• 1/4 cup oats

• 1 1/4 cup water
Mix together in blender with ice until the consistency is where you like✨ Grab a spoon and ENJOY😋
